Luckily, I don't think you have molested my bike :lol: If you compare the Street Triple with the Z1000, the Street Triple is going to sound raw.

 

I'm looking at the 2009 Streetfighter S. I thought it came out in 2009??

 

 

 

The smaller the number, the more it attracts me!! :p But honestly, it's not popular because of the smelly place ... :(

 

I thought it was out in 07? Thought I saw one for sale at the used bike sale section. Must hear a triple the engine running ha.

the Streetfighter S is a much better supernaked than the Triumph streets or any other triumph non-chopper bikes - IMO. I am not sure how to rate choppers,.. hahaha speed? comfort? I dunno... again... I saw 2 Triumph daytonas 675 got murdered by japanese 600cc at PG. British don't make bikes, they make Aston Martins.

 

the Zed is probably the best japanese supernaked bike ever built. The B-king is just big and fat - probably clumsy...

I must say, as much as I love the Streetfighter S, it is specifically built in lieu of the MV Agusta Brutale. The brits make good cars, but bikes? I'm not sure, don't even know what's made in Britain and what's not now. I sat on the B-king once, and i didn't manage to sit the bike upright. Yep.

 

Oh btw, J, I've been invited by Hong Seh to test out their 1090RR, wanna come along?

After my exams, I got the invite because I was present at some exhibit they have for MV Agusta.

Hmm I really don't think it came out in 2007 because I remember that it came out AFTER the Street Triple was launched (in 2008). Aiyah anyway doesn't matter lah :lol:

I would not really say I would love the overall package of the Streetfighter S compared to the Street Triple (Street Triple is too hard to beat). But the sound and presence of the bike definately beats everything else :p

 

Seems like I'm having difficulty selling my Triumph. $16K seems way too expensive even with all the stuff I put on the bike o_O Might have to give up the idea of the Streetfighter S eventually.

 

Maybe I might just get the Z1000 in the end .. hmm .. I know it's good but .. it just lacks some X-Factor ... how?? :p

 

I think the B-king does not belong to the same category. It's like a slightly slimmed-down version of VMAX or like a Hayabusa without fairings? :lol:

I think the Streetfighter S greatly surpasses the Brutale .. I used to love the Brutale. But after a few years, the bike really seems to look "old". But give me the F750 anytime! It still looks bl@@dy good after all these years! Love the star-shaped rims! Gorgeous!!

Elan, am already getting one from RW not the sentosa one. It's for a zx6 '08. Prolly going dual maggot or dual evo 2 GP style. Just finished my 2nd tank on the Z, fuel consumption too high, nice. Haha
