That deal has been around for a long time. Not sure there's still stock left. Friend bought it and liked it. Felt a little flimsy to me but for that price, I should compare with other FF :)

Thanks, anyone care enough to show me where is the bike plate light connector connects? I am facing some difficulty fixing the plate light when fixing the original back signal lights back :(

Oops, I mean I should NOT compare to other FF helmet. It's not heavy, close to the FS-14 (I think) I have. Think it's 1250g or something and it's cheap $210 (MW promo too). The carbon version of my helmet is barely lighter for comparison.

Ralliart: Which gen is yours? For gen1, the rear signal and plate light runs up the underbelly to the rear of the tail (behind the glove compartment), then to the right side of the bike where the connectors are. You need to remove the tail to get to those connectors, POS! Other gens I don't know so you've to consult the manual.

The review stated 1600g for the CL ST model but the size was not mentioned though. I have nothing to complain for a $100 FF helmet.

$210 for FS14 is a steal (this helmet has very good review and quality of the helmet is comparable to Shoei).

Anyway I just needed a helmet for daily use plus I will be hanging my helmet by the bike most of the time, I think the $100 CL ST will suffice my needs.

My current set of tires, from previous owner, is Michelin Pilot Power 2CT, very sticky tires even though the grooves in the middle are almost bald, warms up very quickly, very good grip in dry and wet weathers.

Since I dont go track, my next set of tires will be Pirelli Diablo Strada, sports touring tires, easy on the wallet, long lasting tires, good grip for dry and wet weathers. :thumb:

Yep! I'm on the PR2s and they're good. The strada's abt the same. Dual compound etc. But the Road 2s turn better.

Prillelli Diablo Strada and Pilot Road 2CT are both dual compound tires with equally good reviews on mileage and grip in the wet. I will go for the Strada as its $90 cheaper vs the Road 2CT since I will be clocking very high mileage and replacing tires almost every year.

Btw Strada is cheaper because Angel ST will be replacing strada, but reviews shows Angel ST perform only slightly better or same as Strada hence its good value for money to buy Strada. I will switch to Pilot 2CT/Angel ST once the Strada stock is out. :)

I looked at my bike handle bar it seems there is no space to mount the Akron handle bar mount and I may need one of this bracket

http://www.gadgetguy.net/Catalog/02/UniversalBracketKitIIcomponents.JPG

I am thinking to DIY and buy these instead, where can I find this locally

I like the 2CT thread pattern more. Think PR2 (sports touring) has harder compound and thus higher mileage than 2CT (semi track).

I have no idea what kind of bracket you looking for. Thought GPS mount is just a clamp with a flat piece for your toy. I have a few sets of handlebars that I'm planning to list soon. They're the 7/8" version of the Flexx handlebar by Fasst Co. Looks like you can mount the 2 bolts over the cross-beam. Come view my bike if you're interested. I have them on.

Its a bracket fix at the handle bar clamp, it is just a raise bar to let you clamp the GPS bar mount holder on it, so your GPS is raised above the tank level and closer to the rider for better view. I just checked the price is USD110 to ship here, think I will get Seng Kwang to customise one for me.

Hi S750WP, nice gadgets and thanks for sharing. I am thinking if I should install the Gear indicator ;)

If you are using your bike for track it might be useful, otherwise not very useful for street use.

I thought so as well, but gf remarked tt she dont know what gear she is in when she rides!

For tires, Metzeler Sportec M5 120/70-17 190/55-17 $460.00 should be quite decent right?

This is the latest tires by Metzler with lean angle indicator, it should be fairly decent tires, single compound tire but employ a completely different technology (5 different tension along the circumference of the tires) from other tires manufacturer to reduce the tire wear and maintain the performance. Not many reviews yet and it waits to be seen if it lives up to its claim.

But you maybe better of with the proven Michelin Pilot Road 2 2CT tires.
