Wanna go back again to test ride??

Already did the test ride of the K1300R. Wow. Think the rear shock is jacked up higher than my K12 (+ my comes with the low seat) so alot more nimble, almost like the Z1. Plus the torque is amazing, doing 60kph @ 6th gear, v low rpm cruising. Just open the throttle wo downshift and the bike shoots. Didn't realize PML does test rides. You should go try it for fun. Only 1 KR left there until the next batch comes in.

Vin, I was there but I didn't test the bike. I don't want to be suckered into getting one yet. I must say that the egros are just amazing, but certainly not used to seeing the dash way ahead of me rather than just behind the handlebars. And why haven't you and I met up yet?!

Hey Ben,

Good question, should definite have coffee soon. Thought the Zed guys are meeting up next week? Let's do it.

1 other thing I like about the KR (which will suit you) is the low center of gravity. The incanted engine brings the bike low wo compromising lean angle. The bike looks big and wide but tapered where it should, for the rider. My foot is fully planted while reversing the bike seated, and that's without me lowering the bike.

As for the dash, very much like a sportsbike with the gauges and mirrors not moving as your steer the handlebar. Of course there're tons of CF goodies and one that brings the gauge over the tank. Search for the Wunderlich-modded K1200R on sale here last year.

Go with me next time, I don't inch others to buy bikes, I just jump into the black hole myself ;)

Vin, we need to see this new love of yours. Let's meet for coffee somewhere.

Wait a minute, come to think of it, I probably did try this bike when my friend owned one. I remember I signaled left and then couldn't turn the damn indicators off.

Fantastic, was there to get more details regarding the '12 S1000RR, unfortunately the bike is still being homologated at the inspection centres. Have been rather interested in compact super sports of late. Hence the window shopping, but any way, would definitely like to meet you for a cuppa. Perhaps somewhere near our place? We can ask Yohji along too!

Haha, damn BMW. Can get wonderful suspension and engine right but not the signals. I just pressed the horn on my way back home instead of left signal. Embarassing.

ok, enough non-zed talk on this thread. Let's take it offline. I'm free for dinner this Thur.

Hi to all Z1000 lovers,

Check anyone is letting go the side mirror of Z1000 as I am looking for a set...

If any Z1000 lover here is letting go can contact me at 93622330...

I must opologise that I should have post on the garage sale column but I am just think here is more appropriate as looking specifically this mirror...

Thank you

To those looking for mirrors, think it'll help if you state which Gen (year) bike you are looking for. If you don't care which year, then any aftermarket mirrors will fit too. Just don't get Yamaha ones.

There're quite a few website selling parts for the Z, standard accessories to specific streetfighter styled parts. Just google them. If you are looking for shops in Singapore, then it's the usual culprit like Motovation, Motorworld, Regina, Ah Boy, etc. Specific brands are represented by different shops other than those listed above. Again, more info to help us help you.
