u can try getting some washers from the local hardware stores, there are 2 types, the metal ones and rubber ones, rubber types are better to minimise vibrations, try getting the hard ones. You'll hav problem screwing in if it is too soft.

Bt the vibrations won go away totally, it is an inherent problem due to the zed having the engine which is a stress member.

Zed is a great bike, so far so good, till now I still live happily with the Zed :thumb:

Yet some minor complain so far is my pillion noted the seat is not that perfect, because of the different height between rider seat & slightly slanted pillion seat, my pillion will tend to sit into the rider sit when brake, so she have to perform minor adjustment of her backside whenever brake (esp. hard braking)

Or I have to sit back a bit so that her tight can grab well, but this will result in rider's racing posture, very tiring for my hands.

Even thought the Zed "looks" small (I don find the Zed small actually :cheeky: ), the Z1000 is a thirsty little beast, she LOVES petrol :lovestruck:

Have to watch out for your wallet and fuel gauge in the same time

I don like the feeling too much cause my groin really squeeze hard towards fuel tank, but the feeling of boobs attack from behind pays off. :lovestruck:

Sometimes the helmets also knock each other, kong kong kong... :sian:

Yesterday just wash my Zed, & use W40 to clean the rims, looks clean now

:cheeky:

I kinda stressed out over the fact that it doesn't have sliders.. the bike looks a bit tall n a bit heavy for me... been riding a phantom all these years... scared that i'll drop my z1.. :giddy:

anyway, i got a new z1 in black.. would have prefered a blue one.. but it's not available here.. Can't wait to collect my toy end of the week though..

No problem, I have been riding cbr150 for 2 years & directly jump onto Z1000.

Just a kind reminder, check engine oil, coolant water, signals & brake lights before you move off from bike shop.

And let the engine run idle at neutral for 2 minutes for the engine oil to run through the engine system :cheeky:

Some may have different style to break-in engine for a new bike, but I recommemd you try not to hit above 4000rpm from 0 to 800km mileage.

Side stand must be up before you kick in 1st gear, or else the engine will cut off itself for safety reason.

There will be an english manual of the Z1000, read it through, its good for you.

I am no experts, just some help :goodluck:
