Yesterday night while I travelling on AYE/ECP, I can feel my Zed handle bar is shaky & my hand feel the numb because of this. The foot pedal also feel shaky. Is it because I whack the engine too hard (sometimes 1st or 2nd gear reach 5000 to 6000 rpm then change upper gear)

Shakes could be due to many factors, try getting a pair of heavier aftermarket balancers (Motrax33 have them), find a day and start re screwing the mirrors and such.. neva had any problems with the foot pedals (something new...)

Hi, you guys might be interested in this Ermax bellypan.....

http://www.msportbike.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=5794

This looks better than the bigger version of bellypan. At least I see from the picture it won't hit the Tuas checkpoint hump, I think

But how much siah

Yes, I also read from other thread that installing heavier balancer & steering damper may reduce the vibration of the handle bar. Seems like its a good solution to go with but I no money now  so will have to bear with it till got some cash in my pocket.

One of my friend commented that it may be because of the front tire pressure, will check it out today before long distance riding.

But got one time also quite unlucky, riding 80km/h then there is a little hump on the road (which I didn't noticed). My Zed just went on top of the little hump, the front suspension take the impact & a "Ting" sound was heard :giddy:

Later I checked the front suspension but cannot find any crack, hope that I didn't done any damage to the bike siah :help:

But I can only reach 180km/h cause I pillion my Zed Guarantor & can't tahan the wind blast. I am the last :giddy:

Then at 312C watch wheelie & extreme speed.

Now very tired, still have to work later, sian loh :sian:

average fuel consumption I had was 17km/ltrs for local riding

for touring at 120-130kmh, i can get 17.5km/ltrs

for cruising at 160kmh, i can get 14-15km/ltrs

for high speed riding at above 200kmh, is about 10-12km/ltrs

acceleration from 0-100 is 2.9secs (extracted from dunno which mag), and is the 12th fastest production bike's acceleration (tested in 2004).

Hey Pauche, that mileage you'd experience on your Zed are too good to be true for me, man!! :giddy:

I would say a litre/14-15km only, for local-rides, say travelling @ 100-110km/h.

And also my blinking reserves-lite would be when it hits about 200km like that..Should I say that the earlier models consumes less petrol?

Just like the New V-Tech3 with the V-Tech2 'coz the valve opens only @ about 7rpm whereas the V-3 @ 5rpm like that???

When I had my zed, I had PC3 with custom mapping plus the neodyrium (dunno how to spell) magnets on it. But I heard somebody's Zed can hit 250 before blinking reserve....

So that PC3-thing's not kind of a crappy stuff after all la...Hmmmm...considerable:smile:

Thought that thing is just power booster, that's all..Never thought of getting 1 'coz no point as the stock power itself is commendable!! :thumb: :thumb:
