To all future & potential Z riders out there,

From a Ang Moh Forums :

FOON's Z1000 Review

So here's a little story I'd like to tell,

About one bad bike you know so well!

It took seven months and many a long hour

But my Zeds now got the Power

I picked up a full system, 4-1 Muzzy Titanium

When I took it out of the box I nearly flipped my cranium

I got the PCIII, and Map from Joe, I put the sh@*t in to make sure she'd go!

I got it installed and got it all wired, spending so much time it's a wonder I didn't get fired!

I recovered the seat cause we all know black is faster, I am now the upholstery master!

With a red probolt kit from canada and pegs from FredE, my bike was finaly ready!

I hit the highway at 10am, I took the day off to let the fun begin!

Zero to sixty was quite a blast, As I passed 110 I laughed Damn this things fast!

A black blurr, like a bullet from a gun, Mr. Sound barrier come and get some!

The moral of this story is kinda Neat, The Z1000 is amazingly sweet.

From tip to tail she's a dragon without wings, climb abord my Z

and you'll know what I mean

Screaming like a eagle and spittin fire, When I got home I couldn't have been higher!

Do what you got do to get a Z, you won't be dissapointed take if from me.

Sell the car, mortgage the shed. Do you what you need to get the Zed.

Stay safe, have fun.

Ride On.

Foon

Cheers..........

LIGHTNING's Z1000 Review

Ode to the Z1000

I had a Honda Hornet,

thought it was mean.

Thought it was the bike

on which to be seen.

And a good bike it was,

though it didn't inspire,

in my heart, that much fire.

So I bought the Z1000,

and it sure looks good,

goes well too,as I thought it would.

Though I'm not much faster on my Zed,

it has a good deal

more street cred!

My poor old Hornet's still not sold,

In the dealer's window,10 months old

The Kawasaki's better,

though it has to be said,

bought with the heart,

and not with the head!

hi bro, if u intend to change to the z1 from a 9r, u will feel abit sian intially, due to the unprotected nature of the bike, the windblast is hell..

but u will soon get used to it, learn to appeciate the beauty of it.. and the agility it gives in tight spot.

i haven been on the track with it so not much comments.. but they are racing the zed in europe, so shouldn't be much of a problem, just change the windscreen and u're off...

this is one i made myself..

One year ago, I was in a store..

I saw a mag with an orange zed..

Hell it was nice, and it look just right..

Said to myself, that's what I should ride..

One month later, I saw the bike..

It was for sale and soon it was mine..

Meet lots of guys, who rode naked beasts..

Ther's hornets n fazers and those with the zeds..

Gave it hell, where ever I went..

All they see is my four pipes at them..

Heads turn and ask 'ai boy, wat is dat huh..'

I said 'Uncle, its a kawasaki!!!!!'

The orange/green paint work + the 4 pipes are really impressive.

You should go to orchard/shenton way at lunch time to spin around, sure got a lot of lookers :)

depends, my pillion is a small size lady, she didn't complain much, its also mainly ur own riding position, the zed has a more sporty position, (its rear is the same as the 03 zx636) than say the fazer.

i ride with my body abit straighter, so mine pillion doesn't have to bend all the way for support. keep in mind that the zed does not have any hand rails, not very fun if your pillion have nothing to hold on to.

Hi guys,

Any complains from the pillion? ...seems rear seat not much diff from sportbikes

cos most time i'm riding 2 up

thks

pillion tends to 'jump' when travelling fast, but if u could share seat on the rider's seat, this would eliminate the 'jumping' problem. :goodluck:
