I'm actually kiddin' when i say i polish mine to chrome.Autosol juz makes it shine but still golden in color.Perhaps tangolima's previous owner brought his pipes to factory-chrome them.But a chrome fork will indeed look nice n outstanding....

Today, i rode my Z1000 to work for the first time, just to try try, since it's friday. took only 11mins, quite convenient.

 

Maybe i will ride more often especially on days when i dont have to fetch my wife.

I juz went to motoworld to enquire abt the seat cowl n hugger.It costs $270 if u 1 it sprayed to ur color.So its ard $70 cheaper than evershine.The hugger cost $340.

 

Best get the factory coloured seat cowl..(at a price but worth the trouble). I got my resprayed but could not really get the colour right..

Called a number of motortiams, and they don't deal with kawasaki motor. You guys know which area motortiam dealing with kawa? Serangoon, bukitmerah, ubi?

I basically dont buy from shops but rather from private individual.

It makes for a more honest deal and you will really get to know how the bike has been ridden by the previous owner.

 

I got my Z1000 from this thread....heh heh.

yup,i understand the color matching prob.So i'm still thinkin whether to respray my whole Zed to a total diff color.How much do u tink it'll cost to repray a whole Zed?

just resprayed my Zed at replica spray painting.cost me $450 for a diff colour including the rims.

I know cause i viewed Belly's z1000 as well,anyway someone offered me a very good price for a 3 year old zed which i find it very hard to refuse plus tons of accesories as well.

i was contemplating between belly's zed and my current zed when belly called me and told me his bike was sold liao...guess that makes my decision easier cause no choice..haha,anyway did not regret buying my current zed cause it's been well looked after by the previous owner and it has low mileage as well...though not as low as yours

tot mine was the lowest when i purchase it...it was just 4600 km when i buy it and it was 2yrs 10mth old..

 

Even the stock tyres and chain are still intact....
