Fees: $80 per person

 

3 classes of bikes / Open for all brand of bike (Max only 30 participants for each class):

 

2 Stroke Cub Open, 4 Stroke cub Open, Special Class Spark 135

 

Date of Event : 8th April 2007 (Sunday)

No SMSA Licence Needed.

 

Marshalls are provided.

 

Ambulance is provided.

 

Limited Tentage will be provided / Can Bring Your own Tentage

 

Safety requirements are the same as per race day: Suit, Boots, Gloves, Full face helmet. No worn tyres, brakes working.....

 

Modifications for bikes is same as per race day.

 

Each ride is 25 mins.

 

Only Green & Red Flag. Green = go. Red = Stop & come back.

 

Be at the venue at 8am to register.

its not a competition...its like a training or warm up to learn/get use to the right techniques for tight circuit racing.Best for those taking part in the cub prix Competition already set for april 22nd at kallang carpark F.

 

and of course in tradition of racing as privateer...own bike own money.

This track day event is confirm. Closing date entries will extend to sunday morning itself at 9am (Ponggol Marine Country Club). So bring your bike and suit down for fun ride.

can check with u something, u say no licene need, wat is the min requirement than. Any "P" plate allow and wat suit u r looking at? Racing suit or jus jacket & pants with amor with do. Which part of punggol will it be and is the race legal anot. How does ur race go abt. hope u will give more detail

1. No SMSA race licence needed. You have 2B license, P or plate or not, nobody cares. No 2B, got race bike, also can participate.

 

2. Suit is a suit. (1piece or 2 piece) Important is protection.

 

3. Punggol Marina Country Club. Of course legal, Changi Prison no space to take 90 riders at one shot.

 

4. How does it go abt? First and foremost, they will tell when its your turn. Next, start bike and wear all the makeup. Go round and round until headache within 25 mins. They chase you out and tell to wait for next turn. Repeat, all the way from 9-5.

Thks to acidsoul for helping to answer the queries.

 

1. No need SMSA race license, because this is just a track day, not a race day. Only during racing in a sanctioned event, then u need a race license.

 

2. P plate is allowed. As long u have a license to rider a bike.

 

3. Suit can be full suit or 2 piece suit. The most important thing here is protection. We dun want riders to suffer deep cuts due to falls. Helmets must be full face, this is a track standard.

 

4. Once u go down to: 1072 Serangoon Road S(328178) to register, the location, the track layout will be passed to u. While paying, u need sign registration & indemity form.

 

5. This is not a race, it's a trackday. No racing of any kind is involved. This is basically to train up or letting riders practice their lines.

 

6. The way it's being conducted is all riders who takes part will be organised into groups. Each group will have a 25 mins of riding. Then will be called back and another group will go in once the track is cleared.

 

7. As this is not a race, there will not be any chequered flags. However there will be 2 flags. Green is to go or continue. Red is stop and go back to resting place.

8. Each ride per group is 20 mins. Max. of 8 Participant per group.

 

9. Only Green & Red Flag. Green = go. Red = Stop & come back.

 

10. Be at the venue at 8am to register.

 

11. Briefing will start at 0845H. All must attend briefing for grouping & safety.

 

12. Register early on track day, better grouping & ride early, latecomers will be rear groupings.
