Hi guys! After much tot i finally got my AD 200. if you guys rem me from the previous AD3 thread.. hahaa! been quite busy recently. congrats all to your new ride! saw a couple of AD 3 in the road already! it looks much nicer than my AD200.... >.

I am really impressed with all your DIY stuff... i am not good with all these but am interested to do some mod. hope u guys can give some recommendations and tips!

First and most impt.. my windshield is in a bad state... any idea how to restore it? or anywhere i can try to fab one? the OEM is super ex... $800.. plus labor about $1k... need advice desperately.. hahaha!

2) i would like to change the wiper to silicone type. but i can't seem to find a way to dismantle it to change..can i bring to autobac or wat to have it done there?

3) i would like to install a voltmeter any idea where i can get it done?

4) i would like to install a speaker that can direct link to my hp and install a hp holder. dun really want the car type audio... haha! like to free up the space on my AD200.

5) i would like to install the rubber tube thingy to my side fender, where can i get it and should i use silicon to glue it to the fender?

6) Can i trouble ben to order the Dr pully slider 14g? coz my Ad200 seems to be lacking power when moving off and from 40km/hr to 60km/hr.... it is as though i am moving at gear 4 at that speed... total lack of power... after 60 then it is back to normal.. hope the slider would solve that for me...

Sorry for the list of questions!

Just one observation i made not sure if it is useful to you guys. i use to pump Shell 95 and manage to get about 270km for 10litres. now i tried 98 and manage to get about 290-300km for 10litres. but then again i pay more for the 98 fuel... so u might want to experiment it and do the math to see if it works for you.

BTW Hope u all can organise another TTS and i would be glad to join you guys! Cheers!

Discovered that the AD3 fuel port has an additional unused fuel line as seen in the pic... Good for an auxiliary fuel tank mod to extend the bike range!

If you're changing wiper, do take note of the Bosch silicone one, apparently I bought 2, one for my ADtre & a Car,

Car one the clip couldn't fit but must take out the clip and force in.

Bike one, could fit but not clip in sound, used one day for rain after getting my wiper motor fixed, and it dropped off when I was on the move, so ya do take note, Bosch wipers clips are of a different size.

really 98 got better mileage than 95? hmm tempted to try but maybe my forth refill luh.

hmm apparently the 200cc ADtre fuel consumption is not as good as 300 :weep:

apparently I top-ed up too early, 6L nia. now waiting to reach the red area then top again.

how low your petrol meter do you guys go pump?

cayennurff, JS003 is referring to AD200's fuel consumption, not AD3.

My ADtre 300 can achieve about 24km/l.

Adiva's wiper arm is similar as most cars. Most car wiper should be able to fit in. You might be didn't fix probably; have to use some force to force it to seat into the slot.

how low your petrol meter do you guys go pump?

Divide kilometers traveled by litres of petrol used. You will get your fuel consumption KM/L.

Nothing to do how much fuel you have left in your tank before refueling.

Also do not let your bike travel too far once it has reached the red zone. Once it reaches the red zone the bike has approximately 2L left, total fuel capacity is 12L. If fuel is completely depleted, damage to the fuel pump may occur.

oh I know, just curious if the octane 95/98 one would give better mileage, usually is hear the other way around.

The 300 really is much better or that I accelerate too fast.

apparently is it a bit tougher to fit in than usual? I scared to use too much for I break the wiper arm.

no la, I saw you guys do your refill runs for the first few times, was trying to see how much the different in petrol consumption between the 300 & the 200. Is the fuel tank the same? I topped up 10L the first time after NW gave me like 1L of petrol.

Ok I currently left 1 bar, want to see if I can top up approx. 10L.

How long you guys be for the TTS session?

So how's the FC the last tank?

Hi cayennurff, 200 & 300 the fuel tank is same size, in fact, physically the 2 bikes is identical except the engine capacity.

Personally, I don't find any difference for octane 95/98 in term of power & consumption. May be 98 is slightly better in power and consumption but I feel not worth for the money spent.

It is advisable to change the wiper blade to soft silicon type, 16" or 17" immediately to avoid accidentally scratch the windshield. The OEM wiper is 21".

est. 177km, 7.51L of fuel.

oh, how far you guys go on the fuel meter? I always want to try as low as possible but fear damaging the fuel pump.

initially wanted to pump 92, but anyways I thought if you pumped 98, it would be more efficient in the combustion which leads to drink faster?

hmm apparently the wiper arm for my bike a bit different size, 2 wiper blades already and it doesn't go in smoothly, unable to reach the clip part. The wiper arm seem to distort the wiper blade clip.

hmm I still haven't start on doing the DIY mudguards + rubber lining ):

btw I'm gonna need to do first servicing, any specific stuff I need to look for?

any good EO/Transmission oil + how much oil filter?

Your FC is very typical and normal of AD3. You can play around with the different fuel grades to see if it makes a difference. I didn't, therefore I stuck with the lowest octane to save cost.

hie adiva adtre owner,

just would like to ask a few question about the adiva adtre.as currently i own an aprilia rs4 125 4t and a rxz.well tot of trade in my aprilia for the adtre 200cc.as this is going to be a first time owning a scoot,so i'm quite new to scootering.

so here goes the question

1)how is the fuel consumption?

2)how is the ride so far?in term of comfort and crusing mode

3)and the maintainance cost for the bike

thanks for answering the question..peace
