I am no expert but if using tire sizes that are too wide you may not be better off because the shape of the tire will no longer be correctly rounded and that may affect cornering. Read that sometime ago...anyone can confirm if this is true?

I don't think it has reached Singapore yet. :(

I've read reports it doesn't offer as much mileage as PR2 which I was hoping it would. Will wait for some real world figures from riders then bro before making up my mind.

can any one advise if changing just the rear tire alone is advisable?

It wouldn't bring out the true potential of the tyre. You won't feel the grip.

depends on your use. i find the M3 good enough for my everyday use. BT090 are very sticky tyres, but the wear rate is fast. @GodSend was telling me last night that pilot road 2 is very good on dry, especially on cornering, but he claim its horrible on wet.

personally i'll go for bt021. but i just changed my tyres so i'll have to wait till the next round or unless i can offload my current set. lol

When touring, its usually the rider that give way first before the bike itself.

got box got tour.

Hi I've a question, my front tyre is getting 'botak'. But my rear still looks gd. Is it advisable to just change e front one first and change e rear when it finishes? I'm thinking of getting metzeler m3 for my daily commuting. Any reviews? Tks alot

Well if u want something which is good, you got to sacrifice the other. Thats what i learnt. You want less wear rate, use m3.

Shd I change a new front tyre than change my rear one when it wears off? My fren says I can get a 2nd hand first to use while wearing off my rear one

u can change the front onli....its okie for that....just my recommendation that change with the same model as ur rear...so that maximum efficiency...don like rear is bridgestone then front is dunlop

Can lah no problem. The tyres that botak first you change. And like what jokerdefar said, make sure same make and model. Single tyre replacement for M3 cheap only. Can try go Unique bro.

the M3 is fine. just need to use the correct pressure for the tyre.
