Question about helmet at SSDC

I don't feel comfortable using the school helmet. I have been wondering if I can buy any designs(plain or pattern)/colours(more than one colour) helmet for practical lesson of class 2b. I just finish orientation lesson at SSDC last Friday. I forgot to ask the instructor about this. I am really noob so please bear with my post here. Thanks.

since u r at ssdc, u may try helmetboys @ woodland centre, they have some learner packages

yeah can go helmet boys quite near SSDC. u can buy those cheapest helmet should be $20-$30

better buy plain and decent helmet...too colourful and sports helmet will give an impression that you're a racer....

people says...indirectly the tp may mark or pay more observation at you during tp...

 

invest in a school kinda of helmet..after pass what type you buy..no one will bother....

haha quite true. during my 2A TP i wear a full face helmet. got a lot of points for blind spot and fail to check traffic. my 2B and 2 i wear normal half face didnt get that much points for checking.

I am wondering hmmmmmm if the helmet i used 20 years ago at ang mo kio driving cetnre is still being used????

As long as there is a PSB sticker, the helmet should be fine. I got a very basic one from Regina at $28 for use only during lessons / tests. The less flashy the better.

It's always better to get those plain designs... So during TP you may leave a impression that you're not a 'flashy' rider hehe. And of course must be gahmen approved! Helmetboys at Woodlands Central is one choice, another would be LAB or Regina down at Jalan Besar
