If you don’t mind please reread the posts and get your facts right.

The topic didn’t start when someone praise ling and in fact jingle didn’t say anything offensive directed at her too.

 

To be precise this is her exact words.

Sorry to be frank. But, if we really need a pretty cute young lady wearing mini skirts (whom don't have a license) to help promote biking, I'm afraid it's kinda pathetic. *shrugs*

 

She didn’t insult PL.

Hence I think ken r1 should apologise for giving jingle a personal insult without even seeing her before.

 

An apology is just a chivalrous way on the man side to resolve all these exchange of words. So I see no harm in that ya.

THE truth is pretty or handsome ppl will ve advantage in tis world! simi shallow or wat so ever PLS.. character is another tin.. so if u r born UGLY or FAT juz live with it & dun lie 2 yourself ten u live happier.. perhaps can go marie france or plastic lo.. beauty lies in eyes of beholder also FAKE so pls accept ur fate & live with it ten everyone will b happier.. Queen i guess u gotta use layman term in order 2 let some ppl UNDERSTAND cos i nv even mention anybody UGLY or FAT yet it was interpret as i was referin someone.. i ONLY disagree with ppl askin R1_ken to apolgise.. tis shows how well an individual upbringin is.. im neutral initially cos till now i ve not met anyone from tis forum chio, desperate or wannabe but now im flattered by some profound ppl here.. i sincerely regret deeply as i wasnt able 2 noe it earlier if not i wouldnt even dare 2 type anythin here..

lets say most of the time u needa pillion, then scrambler ain't the comfy type for your pillion... my 2 cents...

 

however, i feel some scram still can make it... oso depending if your pillion is big size a not... my smaller size frenz enjoy being pillion on my scram... they like the sitting posture though... Only one feedback from my pillion, the exhaust pipe at the right side of their feet is very hot... normally will remind them to wear covered shoe and socks... if not by the end of the trip i will get to eat a roasted drumstick...

 

do other scram got this feedback from your pillion as well?

dun think pillioning for long distance is gd on a scram... even for the rider! from my personal experience, my pillion always complaine or make some noise after being my pillion in my scram days... So, i guesss if its a short distance, shd be ok... How long is long? It depends on the threshold of your pillion...

back to the topic.. aniwae dirtbikes are never made to pillion but it became an exception is SG cos bikes are bought mainly for transport here, this is of course from the LTAs perception so they get pillion footpegs planted on them.

 

It is uncomfortable to be pillioned long distance on a dirtbike but Hey! if we want to get a transport bike we would have gotten a super4 or a phantooom or sumtin but the passion of most dirt riders is in the dirt and the motard track n not riding a fast transport bike or a comfortable goldwing.

We forgo comfortablility for the adernalin rush that only a dirtbike could offer when we attempt a hill climb or brake slide a corner on the motard track.

If u never rode one and never tried any one of the above that i had mentioned then u wouldn't understand the feeling that most of us feels.

 

As for girls wanting to pbe illion on dirtbikes.... i say if u r willing, then strap on the extra helmet but if it's uncomfortable then take the taxi home or find a guy that drives his daddy's BMW to send u home. Simple as that. cheers

Usually, only thumpers have a problem of very hot exhaust. 2smokes you wont actually feel the heat unless direct contact. Just that your pillion will smell like 2t after that.
