I don't know ah. But all I know is I got a Multivar 2000 and one of those Malossi open pod filters. The one with a cover. If you can help me out it would be great for me and my wallet.

prolly ur main jet is too big...well, if it is...cannot be oso. 150km/pump is really a hole in ur pocket....or maybe the previous mechanic fer this bike just want to suck up money n make the bike a problem so u will have to come back n put more money on it....prolly!

its INDIVIDUAL thinking brother..

Do it smart by not just open a catalogue

or a book to study abt it.

Trying an error is the best solution and

experience in riding is a must and not

by listening to others crap. By the way if

we do it smart by modding our bike, not

much money is being fork out. Why waste alot

so much but not much of a diff make?

Now dats a waste if we 101% listen to mechanics

or the "BOSS" to change this and that for the

sake of their business.

well said my fren....i feel u!

Runnin in 70-80km/h till u hit mileage of 1000km. Once awhile u can blast it out to 100km/h if u feel bored ridin it slow....once u hit 1000km n above, just ram it out....n remember, new bikes need servicing. Ask around, u'll knoe...

trial and error sometimes make you burn more money..

lol.. and anyway aint i right to say that most info you get know is a collected data of people visiting mechanics and shops. so i guess we must credit the mechanics.its still hear say at the end of the day.

And this smart you talk about no matter what there's still a limit what stock can do.. stuff like carbs and others it still cost a bomb. Its more like if you know what you're getting.. and stuff like overhaul of engine. i'm sure being smart can get you anywhere..

sorry if i've offended anyone here but i feel shops are really "black" and some arent. They do open shop to earn a living isnt it. if everybody thinks like that then doubt there will be any moto shop already.

nodoubt everybody wants things cheap and good. I guess its a matter of give and take isnt it?? DIY can only get you THAT far. any further you definitely gonna go back to shop.. still kenah wack. And at the end of the day, i think its a matter of if you walk outta the shop a satisfied customer or not.

Cheers =)

yea.. stiLL i think getting THAT far is much better than handing over the bike to mechs to change this n that for u cos they dont ride ur bike everyday. u do n u're supposed to know better wat ur ride needs.. of course at the end of the day u go to bike shops to get things fixed.. but mechs r there to assist u onLy.. the advice they give u have to fiLter thru with ur best knowLedge.. this knowLedge u acquire from triaL n error n DIY.

getting whacked by mechs or not depends on whether u know wat u need or not.. if u dont know n just Listen as they psycho u to get this n that.. of course u get whacked.

The theory that u knoe is based on open book n website maybe.....but to we all, wat we riders knoe, we are always on the bike riding it. We knoe wat our bike needs n wat is best...we can give good quality suggestion based on wat we knoe n encounter but in the end if mechanics can't deliver to wat we want n sugest, we might as well DIY. We're not sayin that mechanics here in sg is not good. Their style is the same, wat thing is still good also they say not good n need to be replace just to make money. That's business minded...correct me if i'm wrong but that's the fact of business.

If ur riding a bike everyday, u sure knoe wat is less n wat is more for ur bike. If problem comes up then it's our own fault n we have to spend money. Tats why we call it 'trial & error'...

N lastly, the info we collect is based on mechanics from all over, nt from just a shop...different mechanics, different style. Go figure.....!

mod too much and we'll lose the spirit of scootering
