Questions on Parking

I've witnessed an S4 bike being "bicycle-chained" by Cinelesiure's security staff, with a document of summons being hooked onto the bike windscreen. The staff even took multiple photos...probably of it being positioned in such a way that the rider indeed had committed a parking offence.

So does it mean that we can use 1 coupon and park in more than 1 place the whole day (or night?). Eg, i park at bedok then i travel to eunos than hougang with just 65cents?

 

Yes, you can do that as long as it is within the stipulated timing of the coupon (ie. day parking 7am-1030pm, night parking 1030pm-7am). Just do not park your vehicle in a lot reserved for season parking holders only (ie. the red lot) if you are not one even if you use the normal parking coupon.

The orange circles?? They're normal bike coupons... you can use them in any public carpark... but you can only buy them by bribing the old uncle who sometimes hangs out at the void deck of Blk231 Hougang Avenue 4 with Marlboro Menthol Cigarettes......

 

Just kidding... they're available in all the same places that car coupons are... try 7eleven.

 

 

Can i ask whats the difference btw the season parking from HDB or URA?

Kinda new to the biking world too.

It depends on which agency runs the carpark.

 

Normally, carparks in HDB estates are run by HDB.

Carparks in commercial areas such as those in CBD are run by URA.
