I advise guys that better buy cheetach .This alarm come from Singapore and useful for reasonable price.No use to buy expensive.If spolit , then can't help and waste.I use this alarm for few years.no trouble for me.I know how to install by myself.

Cheetach price abt $60 plus.

does this alarm come with installation instruction manual?

try to cheetach alarm.It's very cheap and reasonable.

Easy to install..

1998- Yamaha RX-Z(FR****K)

2002-2003(Oct)- Honda Super 4 Vtec II(FV***C)

2006 to 2010(June)- Honda ST1100(FQ****M)

steelmate alarm ...made in china with two ways cost 300 plus.

hi, anybody got face this problem when you arm ur alarm ur meter will jump n when it sound the meter will keep jumping? I just fix a steelmate alarm model 883 my meter will jump when arm/sound even the mech oso dunnoe. I scare that this thing will spolit my cdi. Can anybody help me :)

passed class 2A 06-11-07 (riding cb400 S1)

passes class 3 17-04-07 (some times)

using Scorpio 2 way right now. My remote did trigger once. Indeed, someone touches my bike.

Yes, glad that someone is following wif my postings.

 

I am now using the 3rd version, and I believe I am so far the only one in Singapore with it fixed onto a bike.

 

I am 101% satisfied with this 3rd version with tilt sensor. However, the price isn't cheap to most riders out there.

 

But for me, I find it quite reasonably priced, afterall, I did install a $140-value alarm for my previous phantom 200.

 

For those who genuinely interested, let me know. See if I can work something out for u guys.

Steelmate can get from quite a lot of shops..

 

Self install can get from ChinaBargains.. a lot cheaper..

 

Extreme, MotoWorld and some other shops do sell them with installation, of cuz they came with some warrranty..

 

i would also recommend Cheetah.. it's sensitivity also not bad, with tilt sensor too..

ASK electronics at Sim Lim Tower level 3. should be $120 for the top end model..

 

it's quite simple to DIY also.. but then gonna ask DIY guru help.. :cheeky:

i am planning a steelmate alarm but not too sure of the $200 is worth it. the alarm is only a deterrence and not a defense, besides, its only a super4. hmmm

 

Steelmate is good with waterproof transmitter. Installed mine total at RM100.00. But need few adjustment on the sensivity of the vibration sensor inside. It has also Remote starter , immobiliser ( cannot drive off when alarm trigger ) :thumb: Maybe JB can fixed for RM120 ..

would like to ask if anyone heard of RED flash alarm?? i went to jb and decided to install there as it cost abt 115rm and another china 1 cost 85rm is it adviceable to installed there?

hey my plate spec 1 last time the shop say changed the plate no be4 now my spec 1 is FY plate and i donno whats my volt as i wanted to make the auto start alarm

Hi all,

 

I've recently installed a steelmate alarm onto my Spec3.

Currently, I'm facing an inconsistent problem.

I understand that if my battery is low, the meter needle will jump twice upon switching to 'ON' [engine not started].

My situation now is,

Switch to 'ON' - Needle jump once [Normal]

Crank and start engine - Needle jump once again

What does this indicate?

As mentioned, this problem is not consistent.

Sometimes when I crank and start the engine, the needle will not jump again, sometimes it will.

Anyone can help diagnose this problem?

-check ur alarm installation cables. as ur "problem" came after the installation of the alarm unit, u might wana try to remove the alarm unit's connection and see if the problem still persist...

-check ur battery terminals if they are loose on the connection

-check on the ignition connector which is in ur headlight to see if its loose on the connection

-check for any other loose connections at the fuse box and starter relay area...
