but do try out the diff petrol... your phantom might prefer certain grade of octane... I know of many people complaining that v-power is just too beastly to their engines... LOL

i normally go for esso 98 ( i think, the green handle ) as it's the nearest from home for me and usually runs ok but once in a blue moon would have the shhhh shhhh shhhh sound

there's a SPC near my work place and with that (also the most ex one) i would have power losses. after a couple of refills and purged the system with the (green handle) esso it was back to normal without power losses...

Grounded... :/

kerosene...? It is totally different oil from petrol... its like using petrol in a diesel engine lol...

maybe with kerosene the backfires are blue instead of orange ha

*pssst... fighter jets use the lowest possible grade of kerosene! I have friends in air force... lol they are saving on cents and dollars...

but maybe for real ops (warfare) then they will use higher octane fuel... lol

  • 2 weeks later...

i am loving my 98ron thanks to Safra~

tried v-power, it's rather "roary" (on top of the already irritating engine)

while the vibrations on both sides doesn't make a huge difference.

the pick up on both petrol seems alike. maybe cos i'm nt an accelerator savy...

well, cruise for both is still at 80km/h, dildo mode after 90km/h;

and it seems like i managed to hit >35km/l this top-up.

So, a humble list of my results

98ron | v-Power

Smooth Cruising: 85km/h | 80km/h

Consumption: >35km | >33km

Pick-up: good | better

Vibration: shag | shag+

Noise: irritating | irritating+

Top Speed: heh heh, too scared to find out.

i do hear the "sssh ssssh" like some wave sound every now and den... nt sure what's actually wrong. =(

Do what's right, not what you think is right. =)
