BTW, on the same note, are you sure you had all yr air tubes connected to yr carbs setted up right? All those leading to yr air solenoid. Or you sure yr air solienoid controller's working? Or if you've removed it, you sure you got plugged it out well??

Cos my fren had his mixed up by a lousy mech and ran like craAAaAAaAaapppp.. Maker sure your's puUuufect. Its quite critical..

Cheers!

yeah i'm 101% sure its correct.. have been riding 250 for 3 to 4 years now... cannot be wrong or else it will be funny riding it... my friend had it wrong before.. worst than crap!

Luckily for cars, they are Fuel Injected...so most stuff can be electronically controlled. So guess you will have to wait 2 months. BTW, whats the TCF used on the Dynojet? If you are comparing your friend's dyno, was it at wheels or crank?

What were the ambient temp plus the rest of the variable factors? It is hard to compare unless all parameters remain equal, which is near impossible.

ya... this is a time where i think a FI bike will be easier... tcf is wat? the dyno is at rear wheel... the temp should be about the same in singapore... wun make much of a diff unless in 4 season countries i believe... they r having 2 dynos and i am not sure if we used the same one... but anyway i tested his bike before and i think no way its 64 hp man.... the torque is just not there....

Traction correction factor. This will yield the crank HP. Most will take the SAE non corrected figure for comparison. No, my friend, Temperature makes a LOT OF DIFF. Even with 4-5 degrees off the intake temp, the differences is around 10HP! Believe it a not! There are many ways to get a higher figure. When we meet up, I can tell you what stunts some tuners pull! :bouncefire:

Yup, temp makes alot of diff. And air density also. Everyday diff.

Ha, tricks... Yeah, like spraying nitrous at the intercooler? Like using water to air intercooler and using iced water?? Heeeee...

cheers

Ermm....guys....

Sorry I haven't been here for some time...hehe. Network's so slow in the evenings these days man.....

Anyway, anyone has any idea where to get a new DNA in SG these days?

Posted

I doubt there are "NEW DNA's" in singapore. As what is left is left-over stock. Anyway, I also doubt they will be bringing in the new version of the DNA. As it is only in 50cc, but they made one improvement to the bike I love, and that is bigger tyre size!!!

Cheers...

Hi guys, can anyone tell me on top of their head what is the original roller size and the weight of the DNA 180. I forgot the measure when it is out but I did weight it 10 gr. Is that seems right for original?

Glad to hear you are fine, dude. Those bloody sandy roads...the construction firms plus lorries should be fine heavily for making the roads a dangerous place for motorists.

Anyway, take care and have a blessed X-Mas! :thumb:

10 grams doesn't sound right!!! Its WAY TOO LIGHT... But damnit, I can't rem what's the original weight... Hasn't used the stock variator for quite some time now.. I'm using Multivar..

Maybe Randy can help... He told me he's using 12gms.
