Guan Hoe, the Suzuki authorised repair centre in SG, doesn't even sell bikes... they don't do any bikes except Suzuki... don't confuse them.

Their bike quite expensive.

But the condition i can say is good.

i suggest someone can come out a TOP 10 MotoTiam List. means some experts here can do analyst here from those moto tiam ratings contributed by sg bikers. from there can rank those moto tiam from 1-10. so a newbie like me can have a quick reference of which moto tiam to go or avoid. oso to let those moto tiam owners wonder why they are not even on the TOP 10 MotoTiam List, then from that day onwards mayb they will tink of doin something to their shops, service, workmanship, prices n do their best to get into the TOP 10 List. this way both bikers n moto tiam owners will have benefits in anyway.

Wanted to noe if Mah pte ltd at bendemeer there is an gd shop?thinking of getting a 2nd hand R6 in the near future.Tot there will b more varities there cause 2nd hand R6 v difficult to find.any comments?

hi friend out there; eddy in ank is not bad; but why dont u consider eunos super bike ctr as there is oso a mechanic by the name eddy, he is 1 of e most popular mechanic ard eunos .

Well, i struck gold the first time around so i've never had any need to go to any other mechanic. Generally speaking, Ah Huat is a good man, period. He makes me feel comfortable and confident in our business dealings. Of course he needs to make a profit to earn a living, but i know that his profit making is fair. He used to detail to me everything that contributes to the cost of a particular transaction (including workmanship costs). But after many years, i just pay what he says, and he trusts me to keep track of stuff that i didn't bring the cash at that time to pay.

Been wif him since 1994.

Principle : If its not broken he wun fix it. Very honest.

Plus they open from 10pm to 10pm everyday.

He will deligently find the root of the fault and not just fix the problem then later another one will crop up.

 

Service rating : 10/10

Labour Price : Fair

Parts price : A bit ex ... then maybe its the bike model that make it expensive. But at least I know the fault is fix and he only chamnge what needs to be changed.

This is one bike shop that kept their promises. Actually when we riders buy a bike from a bike shop, the most important thing is "reliability and trustworthiness". No point buying a lower priced bike and ended up spending thousands of $ repairing it...basically the boss kept his promise of the period of warranty and repair my parts FOC. Even the parts repaired are minor (cam chain and some gaskets), i'm really satisified cos this is the 1st time i met a trustworthy bike shop.. :thumb: :thumb:

Anyone got comments / experiences for Kallang Cycle (across LAB workshop)?

 

Been there a couple of times and even did my gearbox overhaul there. He seemed to be very knowleageble in V-twins, including Euro models. Even saw someone send a BMW GS and a HD for him to do.

Not exactly frenly and his shop's condition leaves a lot to be desired, but he doesn't mind to take the time to explain what''s wrong with your bike and show the parts they are problematic. When he disassembled my bike, I asked him if he could wait until my shift is over (8pm) for me to take a look. He said ok and he actually waited until 8:45 when I got there. He then showed me the problem and showed how it worked and what was wrong.

The boss was a young guy and he really understands how a biker feel. Although at that point of time, i can find abit cheaper deals outside, but my fren recommended me strongly to go that shop. He makes ur money worthwhile as my bike had never gave me any problem. I had went to many bikeshops and this shop is one of those shops that honour what he says. During repairs just now, he asks his mechanic to check whether my fork, steering cone, bearings are spoilt. For some shops, after checking they are prepared to eat your money already. But after checking, he say maybe becoz it is too loose. Took the effort to help me screw it tight confirm that it is safe to ride before letting me try. Din charge me a cent at all as i bought my bike from them. I will like to share this shop to all fellow bikers as i feel that good things are meant to be shared. If you need help in finding that shop, im willing to help. just pm me. I hope that newbies will not be chopped by bikeshops as i had a few frenz been chopped.
