Was there changing engine oil at 16 dollars/bottle (R4) and free carb balancing. Explaining to me every things i wanna know..

The boss quoted me "130 front tire" and "180 rear tire"(sportec M1) at $400nett including service charge and aligning.. reAlly cheap..He said he wanna beat LAB so he lower down the price of his stuff..

level of service is 6 becoz i waited about two hour for my oil filter.. But overall is good becoz as i was complaining to the boss, he give me a new blue cotton cloth.. i complained again he give me a shoei helmet sling bag..

Excel motors at UBI, they specialize in doing that bike... but maybe u will like to help ur fren by considering getting a new RS or something..

Just my 2-cents worth ah, there're a few gd motordiams that we know..but why dun we classify the gd motordiams into diff categories which they specialise in i.e. sport bikes, cruisers, scramblers, skooters, etc. This will help to narrow down on our search for OUR INDIVIDUAL PREFERRED motordiams mah..noe why i say this?

 

take for example motoworld, they're quite reputable..but when i went there last week, i nv even see 1 cruiser at all there, most of them are tua sportbikes, and only saw 1 or 2 scramblers there..

 

So you see, they may be good, but do they specialise in ALL TYPES of bikes? It'll be gd if we went down to a GOOD motordiam who specialise in the TYPES of bikes we ride, then that'll solve the problem liao..

Informs workers not to do ur bike well becoz if he does ur bike well,

u will never come back to his shop. Heard from one of his EX-Worker [ AH LAI] who now does his own business. And keeps on pushing blame on others for things he has done wrong. Even the bike shop worker [AH SOON] is rather old and exp. but dun even know how to change a clutch disc.

i'm not scared to share with u guys. Come on Ah Bee if u ever happen to read this come and catch me...

this is wat i saw when i my 1st contact wif hkl, was doing my bike there n saw this mech wana tune a carb wif out puting back the fuel tank,normal lah....then after he feed the petrol to the carbs liao,i saw him start abt at least 6-7 long starts n still can start the s4, damn lousy skills leh...i went other shop mech tune,they start within 3 cranks. pity the bike/s battery n owner.80% of their mech cant make it.

Ah huat, the lao ban of the shop, very friendly person..quite experience in his field..but he got one mech, always wear Yamaha black cap, he service my bike..but constantly, half-way service my bike, he will go ask ah huat whether what he doing is ok or not. I got scared for awhile..

 

CUSTOMER SERVICE is commended here, and my bike feels ok lar, can notice the improvements. personally, I feel that i kena chop abit..

I feel that this thread should be made a hot topic, and eventually i hope that we would be able to differentiate the good from the bad motodiams..i hope that all would con't this thread, and rid the world from unscrupulous motodiams!

Guys, my fren quoted me 4000+ for a 2nd hand SP wif everything stock. It's a FT plate bike. Mileage he say only 3000+. Issit a gd buy?

 

For a FT plate SP you can get it for $3300 in bike shop already...

i use to service my bike at Hua Chin trading motor somewhere near bukit batok Vicom. address 50 bukit batok street 23 tel 68966619, can look for ah koon. I feel that he is quite honest boss. his price quite honest too. Dont you feel that getting an honest shop is important to service our precious bike?

?? it seems no one here patronises G.N.G at defu lane 10. But always go there quite crowded. Any1 here has any comments on them. I newbie so dunno whether the price is reasonable. For eg, full servicing is $150 for my sp. Inclusive of the cheap $9 4t and 2t and spark plug.
