i oso noe 1 more. the canteen at brtc jalan bahar. the mee stall wantan mee veri nice. the wantan fried to crisp. plus the mee not too salty jus nice. n the soup oso qte tasty n steaming hot. n its halal too got muis cert as in certified by muis, not me

why not make a suggestion a Day trip in Spore and look for makan

 

Start morning

Look for the best KAYA toast and Teh Ice....

then go jalan jalan for a while

Lunch time go to either River Valley NAsi Padang or Indonesian Rice Table( buffet not bad)

then go for movies then Dinner go to Lau Pa Sat and whack everything there...

 

And for supper.. Some nice Chendol... or Durian Chendol.....

 

 

yummmy..........

 

 

1: Should go to Geylang and whack durian there.. must bargain and check the prices..

2: Siam Kitchen and Rice Table.. Both is Buffet with 20 over dishese.. Eat till you pengz...

3: You can try makan at the food court 5th of Far East Plaza.. Not bad also.

4: Nasi Padang Stall at Kandahar St but open during office hours only....

 

Lau pa sat food EX and NOT NICE some more.....only because of heritage ppl like to go there.......sigh

Yesterday, I ate a box of Fong Seng nasi lemak. Tastewise, the nasi lemak at Changi Village is much more delicious... :slurp:

BRTC is just beside Civil Defence Academy in Jln Bahar and is a restricted area...

btw let me continue to post good places to eat.

 

Sakura Buffet at Clementi, from satay to steak to sushi to cheesecake to normal rice to fried rice to mee/noodles to pau/siewmai to ice cream to drinks to western. u name it they have it.. but no pork ar kos its halal..

Lau pa sat, always so crowded during lunch time. Pengz. :faint:

 

N yep2 food is quite ex there too.

 

But occasional supper over there is good too. :p

The best satay in Singapore in my opinion is still the satays sold at Warong Sudi Mampir located inside Haig Road Food Centre. The gravy is simply :slurp: and the satays are still priced at 40 cents per stick... :hungry:

The only Western I ate which is value for $$ and taste really good was Chicken Delight..:cheeky:

 

There was a prata stall in Bedok..Very nice gravy/sambal and the kosong is priced at only 50cents..:cheeky:

 

Also there was a stall in the Kopitiam at Clementi..Beside/behind NTUC selling really good nasi campur..Value for $$ too..And no charge to add more rice..Not sure if its there anymore..The owner is a Chinese-Muslim..

 

If you're a fan of teh tarik..Teh katai etc..Might wanna try the Teh gajah at West coast..Ayer Rajah Market actually..And the size..Now that's what I call gajah..:cheeky:

If you are passing chai chee seafood and mak's place, there is another restaruant named kampong chai chee restaurant. if is famous in their chilli and black pepper crab and many more it is super delicious. You should try it too!

in their history column, you will find that they are acturally the ex chai chee owners! so if you are at chai chee, drive forward and keep right! I bet you will be like me, a regular eater there!

theres a place behind tanglin post office. beside nus sports hall i think got a place called mr. prata.

food not bad.

variety of local to western to italian.

I went for a workshop at NIE today. The food being sold at the canteen are mostly 'halal' and the price is cheap and affordable. I had the 'nasi padang' which is tasty. I ordered one meat, one fish chip, bagedil, potatoes and vegetables. Outside, the same combination of dishes would have cost me more than $5. I had all that for $3.80 only. :thumb: Tomorrow, I'm gonna try the Western food. Most of the dishes are below $4... :hungry:
