Looking at it in a more optimistic manner, no other teams are gonna get max 3 points all the way till the end of the season; other teams are bound to drop some points so Liv are not too bad at the moment. But they ought to capitalize against teams that on paper they shud have won....YNWA.....

Hey guys this is my first post, i am a die hard liverpool fan. started supporting them since the robbie fowler days haha, not that long back. Just some stuff i would like to write about liverpool.

 

Against Man City- First half , i really wanted to go up to benitez and ask him what the F*** are you doing. Bench robbie keane, put in 2 defensive midfielders and expect torres to battle micah richards(that fella looks more like a rugby player than a footballer:)) and richard dunne alone. Benitez you are freaking bonkers dude. But benitez gave me a tight slap haha and my beloved liverpool won 3-2. They need not have to struggle so hard if kuyt had scored that sitter in the first half.

 

Anewae apart from that recently the newpaper asked if torres was the best striker(i think) in the world right now?

 

here is my reply: I think so. Everybody thinks torress is some pretty boy, but liverpool fans just take note almost every game, he gets marked, and he gets whacked. What great about torress , he doesnt dive to make his team win(AKA Drogba), he doesnt whine the whole day after a tackle in which nobody made contact with him in the first place(AKA ronaldo), he will never pass the ball when he is in the box, expect him to score 9 out of 10 times a classic finisher(unlike our adebayor, i do not know if he is a striker or wat, always want to pass the ball when he can score) and lastly check out torres's temperament, every match he sure kena whack left right centre but what does he do- he gets back right at their faces and scores.

 

This may be the season for us coz we have got one 30 goal a season striker

Still dunno whether he IS the best striker in the world rite now...

But the attributes you described about him are there.

Non-whiner, non-diver, always finding ways to get back at hard defenders by the best way possible: scoring.

 

Maybe those are the attributes of an upcoming premier striker in the world....

Kudos to them that they won against city after a massive comeback. But then again, its a risk they are taking if they dont change the way they are playing. Letting in goals and then trying to fight back to get back an equaliser or a win is not really my cup of tea; so to speak. It just give me all the pressure just watching the game, half of the time cursing and swearing at my poor innocent TV. Ok, that game was a relief but how often will that kinda scenario happens again? I rather they play any games by having control right from the start.
