scary moment sia. footrest poke in my leg. leave it a hole there sia. and it 2mth already. still not fully recover. but able to kick soccer. Haa.

and read my first post here. i am trying to find out what happen to my bike. cause i'm hearing people saying SP can reach 180. but mine is 160. that y i open this thread up to hear people comment.

i nv change.. just letting ppl know can get pop pipe at agl.. forget which shop alr.. try xing hock?

 

exhaust are easily available

i do know tt

 

but just change 1 pipe and maybe some setting can hit 220km/hr

if u want SP to run fast... just fit in all the after market stuff which is not legal... me use PDK Chamber... end can modify it..... block polished... carb change to kei hin but petrol makan like water.... alot more ah... try not to go JB and do ur bike.... seriously they will screw up ur bke.... send to some good shop at spore... cost alot but worth ur money...

wah! mod those should cost quite alot already. but i goin NS already. no point wasting those money.

I meant that people like you and others create these kinds of threads because you're curious to find out what top speed other bikers gained.

my sp super heavily mod b4.. that time i catch a plane my speed were 400km/hr..

haha.. just kidding.. i tried b4 on my sp were 150km/hr only.. don dare open some more..

Just to add in , besides petrol makan like water, 2T also makan like hell....Air box will need modifications too. After the above mods, u might want to consider to change ur sprokets ratios, smaller chain size, smaller tyres profiles.... Lighter rims will help to shave off weight and gain higher speed, but dun mistaken this as removing ur lower fairings... Ur fairings are design for aero dynamics purposes, they are there to "cut" the wind instead of hitting against air.

 

To summaries, in order to increase horsepower, u have to increase intake capacity ( that is the petrol, air and 2T), and when u increase that u need modifications to ur air box, carb, exhaust.... Sprockets ratio must change accordingly to match the new power output in order to balance accleration and top-speed. Lastly, by shaving off excess weight u will make the engine work with lesser stress and effort.

 

My EX NSR clock 215km/h on its meter. And to be truthful, my friend R6 clock me at 178km/h.... So it's hard to outrun a CBR or RVF...

 

Unless u increase the CCs ( meaning big bore to around 180CCs), change CDI ( can over-rev till 15K of RPM) and have ur whole chassis changed to a titanium one, with full carbon fibre fairings. :eek: But, who will spend this kind of $$$...
