i just saw super 4 spec3 red color lying on the road at novena traffic light. accident with taxi...

 

traffic cop car and ambulance was there but didnt see any rider nor pillion.. hope they are ok...

today while riding,

a taxi squeezed in between a car and my lane while slowing down towards a traffic light turning green.. (almost like lanesplitting)

lights turn green i caught up beside him and revved like mad.. his shocked reaction was priceless, think he soiled his pants.. the next moment i saw his high beam getting smaller and smaller in my mirror..

sometimes cant blame them also le .. maybe they dont know what you're going to do next? like me yesterday, i wanted to cross over to taka from lucky plaza side. i stood in the center of the lane, nearly kena knocked down by a van. because i dont know whether the van slowing down to stop and let me pass , or the van just going to continue at the same speed.

 

in my mind was "oh sheeat ! turn back , or run forward ... turn back , or run forward ... "

 

must slap myself and remind myself to use the pedestrian crossing next time.

people like you ah.... must be shot down! hahaha.. joking only ah. anyway, that area very congested with jaywalkers eh.. irritates the hell out of me.

 

end of last yr, on the way back from camp, on the slip road from bke going to sle, theres this ahpek he ard 100m in front of me. squeezing between cars and lorries. then i saw him hit the road works tipper truck with the 'safety' bumper parked on the chevron markings. i was a cd fire and rescue specialist back then so i tot ild stop and render assistance. skali reach the ahpek see...his lower body is facing downwards...upper body facing up...his torso like twisted. face is like mince meat like that but can see the eyes still open. wah lau. i cabot sia. i scared help later at night get nightmare

 

wah! in my 2 years of NS, i never see accidents that bad. the worse one will be a head injury where lumps of brain matter are oozing out. this one really top the list! anyway, just help la. you never know if your assistance will be a major factor in saving his life.

btw, something to fess up. On the way back having an easy ride home, I was at the left side of lane 1. This black honda civic cut me on the right dangerously. It had shaken me up abit and I was furious and chased after him. Kept telling myself to not lose sight of the car.

 

He continued to sped above 150kmph and I was behind by 3-4 cars. I find the empty lanes, signal & blindspot while going at 120-130kmph. Kept changing lanes till I found him again exiting clementi rd at high speed. I was hoping for the light to be red at the junction and it was.

 

I came up next to him, with my visor and build in sunshade down, I kept looking at the idiot. He turned once to look at me and I gave him the finger before squeezing to the front of the line.

 

In my head at the front of the line, I was visualizing what can happen if he caught up to me once the light turns green and got out of his car.. All sorts of scenarios were running thru my head. Lucky for me he didnt give chase.

 

So I continued to travel home and was thinking how rash my actions were. Kinda regret what I did now..

Yes ytd while riding along Bukit Batok at the slip road to the PIE at around 2130h, a yellow hyundai taxi hit an ah tiong cycling across the pedestrian crossing (i learnt that cyclist can be very fast and must watch out for them in HOV ytd too!). The taxi driver keep saying he no problem no problem, of cos the ah tiong, a stranger in a strange land also say no problem la but can see him clutching his ankle in pain, his packet dinner all spilled over the road (mmmm.. duck rice).

 

So i stopped, on my signal light and red colour undercarriage LED (SHHH.... LTA watching...) to alert motorists of the danger and attend to the ah tiong. While i was giving first aid to him the taxi driver ran off with his passengers!! WTF!! LOL!!! Okaaaaaaaay.... Had to half fireman carry the ah tiong further away from the edge of the pavement to a tree let him lean on it on the middle of the pedestrian island. Tighten his shoe laces and elevate his leg on top of his duck rice packets in order to alleviate the swelling.

 

He said he called his friend to come down and refused to be conveyed by an ambulance, after making sure he and his possessions were alright, i went off to clementi to my grandma's house.

 

So i was thinking, taxi driver in the right or wrong? Right for him to run away leave the ah tiong there in order to convey passengers and carry on his shift. Passengers don't say lah.. typical aunties who can't give 2 shits about ah tiongs in singapore.

 

What do you guys think?

Yes veli toopid, hmmz, i almost feel like role reversal where i am the taxi driver, they are the bikers, cannot see them!

 

If my cub is "hardly visible", then they are "non-existent"!

 

suppose its their culture to do that back home, but someone gotta tel em its nono in SG?

 

Turn around.... saw the reason of the "THUD".

 

Middle Age Couple... sitting in their Mini SUV... happily chit chatting... didnt realised that they already let their car roll until hit my bike!

 

Turn around and gesture to them. Still dunno wtf happened.

 

I pointed to his bonnet and my bike backside.

 

Then he finally saw that my bike was stopping his car from rolling forward further!

 

Sit on my bike and quickly assessed no damages. Scold for 3-5 secs ask him open his eyes.

 

Light turned green... went off....

 

Sometimes i really wonder where the hell are their brains.

no la... cos these fathers/mothers last time experience so much hardship. must walk many kliks just to go to school. so, they giving their children a better life la. later, if the child take MRT, cannot concentrate in class cos smell too much armpits. if the child take bus, cannot study cos still nauseous from the speedy bus rides. if walk, later can kena raped or mugged by foreign labour. so many risks. that's why la must send by car. ensure nothing happen during the journey from point A to point B.

i think it's fine if you drive like there's no tomorrow. cos i'm guilty of doing such as well. hehe... but at least check blindspot while doing dangerous stunts la! sometimes, some blind cars just wanna cut my lane and they always change lane first before checking blindspot. so when they do that, i just revved up to beside them and knocked on their window and they will get the shock of their life and steered back into their lane violently. i love doing that!! muahahaha!

Last weekend on the way to K.L, I got a Silver Honda tailing me on the NSHW high beaming me.

 

I was thinking "What's he doing??? I am already pretty close to the car in front at 120km/hr"

 

So cut left go round the person in front and came back to the right lane.

 

But a while later the same Silver Honda came back behind and high beamed me again.

 

Later, then I realised I got a strap from my pouch where I usually keep my Passport, flapping in the wind behind me. "Aiyo! My bag was opened!!! That's why he was high beaming me."

 

When I did an inventory check, then I realised the my Brand New Chromed Waterproof Plastic Pouch for my Sunglasses was missing...

I actually quite like the new pouch one. Must have fallen right in front of the silvery Honda, and my only 1 day old!

 

After zipping up the bag, rode again, at the petrol station, the bag was opened again. Must be the wind too strong blow open my bag. Lesson learnt go fast must use bag without zippers, going to use my old Army haversack, at least that one is buckled on and have a drawstring inside.

 

In K.L, I got a summon for parking on the pavement. Sian...

Shopping center all cannot park, no entry to bikes, park pavement with everyone else, came back, only I got summon, even took pictures to proof it.

 

On the way back, already at night liao, ran at 140km/hr ~ 160km/hr very dark no street light very scared, worried will run over python so didn't go at max speed.

 

Got to the customs shortly after midnight. Safely back home just before 1am, sleep sleep sleep until 10:30am on sunday.

Can't understand why some riders are like riding as if they have an appointment with their maker.

 

About a few days ago, there is this SCDF rider on a Yamaha Spark, FBC 54*5, zoomed past me when I am riding on a merging lane into the expressway.

 

I have nothing to do with ppl zooming past me, but to do that on my left with a few inches away from me is really idiotic. Cause me to jump for nothing.

 

Wanted to repay what he did to me, but I decided to just keep my cool and continue my trip.

 

Today while lane splitting on my way to work on a congested AYE, that idiot again zoomed past me when there a little gap between a lorry, me and a car.

 

Seriously, i always give way when a faster bike comes up behind me. I can't really help going at 60km/h while lane splitting cause my S4 mirrors are pretty wide. (to me) Even if i were to give way, there must be a gap for me to filter into. But just zooming past me without even slowing down is really crap.

 

I don't give a damn if he crashes in front, beside or behind me. But in the event of him zooming past me and causes me to fall, who is liable?

 

Really don't understand why such crap riders are out there endangering another rider's life.

i also kena alot of times, really idiots, ride till like tat, if other riders did tat to them, i think they might not have a 2nd chance of living already
