i siam-ed the moment he wanna tailgate maa. but the joker caught up with me, and that's when he jammed on the brakes. his car is new, so shiny, sjl plate. i dowant to dirty or make any dents in his car. :sian:

my cousin's speedometer needle broke. dont know what he do but he did say that he clear meter with his x1r. maybe jack got try bfo? hehe:cheeky:

No No, i meant the moment he was competing with you for lane 2, it should have been registered in ur head this guy is trouble ald.

No No, mine is X1Relac :cheeky: just that i went for some outings and wow, u see the zhnged X1Rs, or other cubs, for the matter, a bit hiong arh.. :faint::lol:

i'm a naturally hot-tempered person. after what happened only then i realized that if i got over my head, things may not go as expected, especially on the roads. but really, i didnt know that showing the finger is an offence. thanks for that little piece of information ... :)

prior to what happened yesterday, i was having nightmares about me getting into an accident a few days bfore. little did i know, those nightmares serves to warn me .. i never believed in dreams, but from now on, maybe i should ... hmm

finger = kantong wor!? mai siao siao.

speaking of dreams, during hungy "good frens" festival, my fren had a nightmare that he got into a serious accident along BKE.

4 hours later, while delivering goods, a lorry tailgated his 20 foot lorry along PIE-BKE, just nice came out of intersection he saw a broken down truck with a hazard sign ON its rear, NOT 20m away, so he did the only thing he can do - swerve out.

The lorry tailgating him did not see the truck until it was too late - slammed into the truck, the driver passed away - we learnt this only coz of the "fatal" signboard placed there, at the exact spot of his nightmare...

thereafter he went to "cleanse" himself in temple...

They were both going abt 60kph nia - but imagine slam into truck... :(

I convinced him to testify as witness (so as to possibly help the deceased family) coz that truck really chao bong bong!!!!! for fug place hazard sign ON its rear bumper?!?!?! Really must slap until his right cheek touch left cheek!

I am a very hot tempered person off the bike as well. When riding, however, i take nothing personally. The priority is to leave all idiotas behind me as far away as possible, so i'm only left with new idiotas in front of me to deal with.

But i guess you already got much advice from everyone. Hopefully a few years down the road, you'll be giving same advice to fresh hot-tempered riders. Stay alive dude.

dun noe whether u all have this feeling. if 2 cars, one with the conventional yellow lamp and the other with HID lamps coming up, do u feel more tense in front of the car with HID lamps, despite it may be slower? i kind of feeling the cars with HID lamps are rather hostile.

Read my first post that started this thread... note the date.

I left the post as it is to remind myself how hot headed and foolish I was before. That I allowed my ego and emotions to control the bike instead of my head. Things could have gotten very ugly for me if I had not learnt to control my emotions while on the road.

Then I started going to the tracks to quench the thirst for competition and work off the aggression and learnt how difficult it can be trying to slow down a bike from high speeds. Thats when I realised it just ain't worth it to ride fast on the public roads considering that there are so many idiots on it unlike the race track.

Nowadays, I ride at or slightly above the speed limits and keep left most of the time. No more excitement or road wars with anyone... boring but safe rides to and from work.

today while riding....

was on the way home, i was at a junction waiting for the right turn green arrow to show as there was no chance to turn as the traffic is kinda heavy. and so the light for vehicles going straight turned red, the green arrow appeared for a good 2 secs at least, fortunately, i myself make it a habit to look and check around before accelerating away. this moron driving a white GTR R34 think he king of the road, still went ahead and beat the red light, lucky i didnt zoom off immediately after the green arrow appeared or i would be lying on the tarmac liao...:faint:

so what if u drive a Skyline GTR? no need to pay heed to regulations on the road? total morons... :dot:

Nowadays, I ride at or slightly above the speed limits and keep left most of the time. No more excitement or road wars with anyone... boring but safe rides to and from work.

last time, i also rode without controlling my emotions. nowadays, i ride in a relax mood and each time a car irritates the hell out of me, i just let it pass. but yet again, i self-skidded this morning. totally my fault. i've rode for so many months and yet i made such a noob mistake.

let's just say never even try to step on the brake when you're on a wet road near any white paints. i tried to counter steer but i still cannot get any traction! i was like power sliding without any signs of slowing down even with my right foot already down. even after hitting the road, the bike is still sliding towards the bike in front of me. only after the head of my bike bump onto the wheels of a super 4 then it managed to stop itself. gosh! totally no friction is dangerous when the bike slides. but the positive side of it is that i emerged unscathed from the non-existent friction. my clothes were still good and only the knee part of my jeans were torn.

i can only conclude one thing. riding safely and slowly doesn't mean i'm safe. bloody hell!

and the best part is this JB taxi driver claimed i banged onto his side bonnet when clearly i was just sliding on the road all by myself and it was the rear tyre of the super 4 that actually helps to stop me on my tracks. i would like to thank that super 4 rider for not scolding me upside down for knocking his tyre, for telling me not to speed in wet conditions(i was riding quite at a safe speed, the chevron markings just not helping me), for querying if i'm alright enough to continue riding and importantly, being an important witness that i didn't knock onto that JB taxi. :thumb:

i don see how a 135cc 4-stroke can zhng until can outrun a SP or even a RXZ... unless switch engine which is highly improbable i think. kups can have exceptional acceleration i agree, but top speed, don think they can do much...

of all kups, i think only y125z can give sp a run for its money...

i dun wan to know and i dun wanna try also

sp is transport bike..

Pro Arm (aka single swing arm)

If you look closely at the picture, the disc brake, sprocket all on the left...

Seems "heavy" on the left.

Bikes with pro arm are, VFR, RVF, CB1000R etc (*not just Honda bike implement single sided swing arm)

he need to lao sai laa. thats why must beat red light:faint:

few times i kena horn at these kinda junctions coz i move off quite slowly. i wont immediately turn right until i see that the cars have come to a full stop. coz i once saw a big truck beat red light to make a right turn after exitting from AYE exit 8. and i saw that on my first day of riding and working as a delivery rider. terrified? yes, but learnt something from what i saw.

and did i mention that yesterday whilst riding outside a primary school in tampines, something big flew towards my helmet? not sure if some mischievious kids threw that big rock or the rock come from somewhere magical. but it sure did make a loud sound and turned several heads.

you should only proceed with vehicles come to a complete stop... always check the light (if its in your favor) then traffic (if its safe) lastly move off.

Basic step but not all of us comply wor...

LOL remind me of my time on the road, sometimes stone would fly and "piang" hit my visor.

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine
