The issue with the ferari incident is that the incoming road where the ferari was coming is a windy road. So you check left check right also, the bend is blocking you from seeing whether the ferari is coming or not. If you ever see straight road junctions, you can spot a speeding ferari from a mile away in the corner of your eye.

So i still blame the ferari driver. There are people out there trying to blame the taxi driver for not checking first and all, but even so, he did or did not, we'll never know. But let's assume he did, i do not think he could have also avoided the accident. I have ever gone through corners and only to get a surprise like a red traffic light and stopped cars like that. I know the feeling. That's why on corners such as those, i do not speed.

Got people even blame the taxi driver?? Yea he might not have checked and got himself into the accident be it winding road or not. But that doesn't justify shifting the blame on him. IMHO, all the blame still lies in the F driver.

say about the ferrari, that's crap lor.. how to justify if someone is beating the red light? 1~2 seconds after light becomes red, we can still accept.. maybe even UP TO 3 seconds.. but.. 5 SECONDS.. that's crap lor.. judge from his speed, I'M SURE HE can see the light is amber but he CHOOSE to beat all red lights since he "feel" that this timing where got people/car but he is wrong and he killed 2 person.. this is really wrong..

For those who are drivers, I'm sure you share the same feeling and tots as me..

Taxi is ALREADY going slow.. they didn't just high speed drive pass, BUT i wish the taxi that got crush had just speed up so that he can avoid that fateful crush.. stupid ferrari.. Now I see one ferrari, stare at them one time..

Kindly read thru at least the intro section first before decide to post any comments.... thanks...

Sadly its not just ferraris. Its e driver. Again pls let's remember and focus and understand tat e fault is not e car. Its e driver.

Just today, i encounter a Nissan cerfio. I was enter pie from adam road. Just after e bend and before e merge with traffic from town, this car change lane without signal or hesitation. Becoz of e drizzle i was moving slowly but near enough tat i would hit him if i didnt stop.

So i went beside him. E traffic was still crawling so now and then i ve to move forward to be beside him. Hand signal him a few times to wind down window but either no see or ignore. Had to show him my horn then he wind down window a bit.

Asked him loudly "do u noe how to signal?". Guess wat, he no talk no nothing, just tat type of fu eyes and wind up window.

Seeing tat, nothing i could do. Give a long horn blast, thumbs down at e vehicle long enough to show other road users and move off. Hope tat he ve video camera. Maybe can stomp say got road bully and let others judge.

E driver was a 40s man.

The ferrari was not coming from a winding road... it's a straight road... from bugis junction / village towards lavender... and before this accident traffic light, there's another traffic light for pedestrians about 50m away...

Actually e issue is tat e driver was speeding and tried to beat red light. Every other reason is just an excuse. :(

Winding road cant see? Slow down.

Amber light too soon? Should e slow down before e 3rd arrow.

See red light? E brake. Should ve slow down before traffic junction so as not to require e brake.

Wat reasons cant be resolved by slowing down when nearing junction?

Its not as if e car encounter oil slick patch at low spd causing e car to slip slide and bam other cars. If yes, those deaths may not ve happened.

That road is blocked by alot of things. Anyway, i havent been there in a long time and if you say that its not windy, then seriously, no more excuses for the ferari driver already...

Today while riding to work on Comonwealth Avenue West. Shock to find that traffic jam starting from way before Singapore Polytechnic. Lucky can lane split or will be terribly late for work. Not sure why all 3 lanes are taken up by slow lorries. WTF.

Sry maybe i wasnt clear. I'm not ure if tat stretch of road is winding or not. But e driver should ve slowed down regardless instead of going at high spd.

As a rider, if u saw a winding stretch of road up ahead and if u r traveling at high speed, naturally u would reduce speed to negotiate e winding road right? Not reducing speed is taking a huge risk especially if u cant see round e bend.

Not that taxi drive didn't check, but if a car going more than 100km/hr, he got check also will see that the left side is empty, because the car would have been very very very far away.

4.45pm - 4.55pm. Bukit Batok Rd(From Jurong to Brickland Rd)

To the P-plate malay gal on a black Vespa with a female pillion;

You seems to be having so much fun weaving from lane 1 to lane 2, lane 2 to lane 3 and back to lane 1 without due care! Wow! I'm so amazed by your "I OWN THE ROAD" mentality.

Any blindspots check by you? I doubt so, coz you anyhow drift into mine and other vehicle's lane. Oops! I forgot! You own that stretch of road.

Btw, your pants and boots is a dead giveaway that both of you are from the Home Team. Please lah. Ride carefully lah. And within your limits lah. You think everytime this lucky meh? You forget your pillion's life is in your hands meh?

Remember that your folks expect to see you back home, everyday, unharmed.

Today while walking to the Bus interchange to take bus to collect me bike, saw the evil parking wardens happily taking photos of bikes parked outside Northpoint. The older indian one was teaching the younger chinese Female one how to haunt. She still can smile happily while an Ah Bang and his Bini looked super sian while wearing their helmets. :(:(

Can see they already going to move off also don't give chance.

Make people sad sad still so happy. :(

And the lame official reason given is that parking on the pavement blocks the view of the drivers and endangers pedestrians. I say PUIII!

Because while issuing the summons, the 2 Evil wardens parked their bikes on the white zig zag lines and double yellow lines. Like that not endangering the pedestrians and causing drivers to take evasive actions mare? Park on the road even worse! Why never summon themselves? Why they didn't go and park properly inside the shopping center then come out to summon? Hypocrites!

Today while pushing my bike to the petrol station at Jalan Kayu from Seletar camp..... "WHY NOBODY HELP ME ONE!!!"

See lah! Do good deeds, no kind deeds repay me one!

Good heart, no good repayment!

to be continued.....

..... continuing....

Then when going down the slope, from the Prata shop to the station, I hopped onto my bike and let it's momentum carry it down the slope. :) Along the way I actually passed a fino ridden by a slim malay girl. :shy:

But then hor.... got a car on the other side stopped to park, and the dump truck behind didn't have the patience to wait and cut into our lane!!! Then the rest of the lorries and vans also follow!!!

High beam us some more! Both of us E-brake. Me E-braking down slope while paddling in neutral, with no glove, no helmet! Wah lao! No engine brake, also must E-brake! :sian:

And all because some F@#$%^&*!?XZ couldn't wait a few more seconds for the car to finish his reverse parking!

Make me have to paddle again to build momentum.

Inside the petrol station, when I was about to leave, got a Blangalah finished pumping his bicycle tyre, but stopped in the middle of the exit see here, see there, checking his tyres while sitting on his bicycle. Then get horned by a car exiting. He then turn left to let the car pass.... but then get horned by me because he was riding right into my path!

Then after the petrol station, there were 2 lorries, 1 smaller one behind a larger one. At the red light the smaller one tried to do stunt, go into the bus stop to overtake the big one. Siii Kaaaa Leeee.... GREEN LIGHT! The big lorry also move, the small lorry tried to come out, cannot come out! Then die die want to squeeze out, the big lorry don't care keep going, bang the small lorry's mirror until the mirror turn 90 degree forward!

Hahahaha! What a way to end the day!
