Hi friends,

I have been debating between the Gilera runner VX125, Honda Dylan and PGO Gmax125.

I think I will go with the PGO so long as the seat height is not too tall. It looks like a good buy overall compared to the competition regards value for money and fuel economy. It is not a popular model here in the Scotland so may be I can be the first to write a decent review. I am a member of TAG forum and everyone seems to favour Gilera, but I am hoping that the East can give them a run for their money.

Please don't let me down.

PS. What accessorries are available for this model to give it a bit of bling?

best regards from Bonnybridge,Scotland,UK

Cheers to WhiteOryx for the info on Gmax parts.:thumb:

Banana?? o_O :faint:

Outing was ok, bike is fine, still running in havent really got the chance to feel its true power. At the moment, Best FC is around 27km/litre. Might be due to the current run in period. Can cruise at 60km/hr at 5000 RPM, so should still be ok. Now waiting for the bike to reach 1000km before i would really whack it out. Still got 400km to go :faint: Can really feel lots of hidden power in the bike at the moment :cheeky:

Cheers Alvin,

tried to order one today, but they only seem to have blue/silver,Red/silver. Apparently no more shipments to the UK will be arriving in 2006 from your company. I would have liked the grey/silver, but may have to opt for the blue/silver now. looks a great scoot, hope it rides and lasts well. we only get the 50,125&250 models here in the UK, would be good if the 150 was also included.

Hi there.. I am using the Grey/Black G-Max 150 myself and fully done-up with all the aftermarket parts. The Blue/Silver is a very stunning colour. There will be a new Yellow/Black colour for the latest G-Max 200 version.

PGO scooters have been known to lasts for a long time.

In Singapore, there are still a couple of Vespas' types of PGO 150ES & LS (manual types build in the early 80s' to early 90s') models running well on the roads. There are even couples of PGO earlier models such as the Galaxy 90 & the Big Max 90 (automatic types build in early 90s') running very well on the roads of Singapore.

Hope the 200cc version of the G-Maxes' goes to the UK market.

Hi Alvin,

managed to source a grey/black G-max, I pick it up on Saturday. What is your fuel economy like? Do you know where I can get upgrade parts online?

Hi there.

That's great. Fuel economy avg. is 35km/L.

Upgrades online..... Not at the moment that I came across. But can check with the distributor of PGO scooters whether they can source from the manufacturer's exporter side.

I got all my upgrade parts from the manufacturer exporter.

Hope you enjoy riding the G-Max...

Hi Alvin,

got my Gmax on Saturday, turns out it is silver, must have been some kind of mix up, not really too bothered about the colour as my last bike was a silver Honda Hornet. This is the first scooter I have ridden and it feels so relaxed to ride. I would like to change the seat as I keep feeling like i'm creeping forwards on the seat, the one you have in the East would be more suited to me as i'm a short bloke.

Please put a few pictures up of your bike as I would like to see the fully kitted out version. I think i'm the only Gmax 125 rider in Scotland as the dealer I bought it from has only sold a few 50cc models so far.

Regards,

Connall.:thumb:
