Looks like either Unique is aggressive or they are gg into a price war.

Diablo is a pretty old-timer tyre (1st review in 2002) as the successor is Diablo Rosso (review in 2008 early) but more ex of coz. Buying new tyres got to look at production week and year stamped on the tyre wall.

I got my 07 production diablo sometime last year - pretty good once warmed up and it is sticky that it pick up sand along the way.

Be4 the diablos, i had M1. To be fair, the M1 i had, production date was in 06. I find them sliding a fair bit during spirited cornerings which my heart skips a beat every now n then. Or maybe it was just me?

Hope the above short amateur review of mine helps...

I will not say it's the best as I have only used Michelin Pilot Sport, Metzeler M1 and Pirelli Diablo before. Diablo is better than M1 in the wet (IMO). Pilot sport is oso not bad - but tat was when I used them 10 years ago, now tat technology of tyres have improved, PS sh b even better but i can't give opinion as I hv not use the new pilot sport.

Having said so much, I have no bolls to corner in the wet...

The old PS is very good in my opinion. During my younger days when i used them on my GSX-R400 - cornering was super-hanging-still on the sides. In hokkien they say... Kup Ka Liao :thumb: (meaning corner till the edge of the tyres - for those who doesnt ustand hokkien :cheeky:).
