after a combined total of nearly 2 hours at trying to get the key to turn, i am almost giving it up. anyone knows how to take out the ignition?

I'd fishtailed 2 sundays ago near Bukit Timah Courts, my church bus had jus pulled behind me & my mother in-law witness wat happened.

Had felt my rear sliding away(was that i wont accidentally accelerate or clutch slipping), then leg natural reacted(must b frm too much mountain biking days when young ) to kick è floor to pull myself back.

Maybe you wanna try doing U-turning at the Dam lor... that's quite a gd plc, but make sure no cars etc lar...

Hi there.

 

my case was after spray alot of WD40 into the key holes, it still take me 2 days for the key to be smoothly turn.

think is the water inside the ignition not dry yet so you got prob turning.. maybe wait for a few days? :sweat:

Hi all,

 

today evening encounter a strange case on my TA200 :confused:

stop for awhile to answer aHP call, off engine. when going off, riding for 30m my bike just died off a sudden :confused: first press the start button, got sound but cant start, than check for fuel level, found half tank full, than push start button again, this time no sound at all.... no engine sound at all...

 

on off all switches... after 1 mins the bike can start liao :cheer: anything worng with my bike? or any PKR encounter this prob before???

yes, i manage to turn after many many many many tries ....tries until i start sweating even the weather is cold....

hi guys.... my ta200 travels 233km before reaching reserve....

is it poor mileage????

 

my bike has 3 boxes though....

i think is a bit high as before reserve is 9.5 litres, which mean your 1 litres can travel 24.5km. i also has 3 box, but on average is 32-35km per litres if use esso 8000, but v power only 29-30km. maybe you would want to go koon to help you tune your bike.............

depends on the way you ride too. I can go as low as 270 before reserve if i chiong a lot, nowadays semi retired already, one tank before reserve goes 350

ya lor... i think so too.... maybe its the way i ride bah....

cos i think sometimes i'm using a higher gear for a lower speed or maybe cos i dragged a bit....

 

will be monitoring it for a while...

i just got my phantom from HKL.. today ride abit problem.. my motor stall at a small slope on the way into my work place.. den when i wan to kick into gear 1.. it remain neutral all de way.. i kick many times super hard also still neutral.. after awhile den finally den green light is off den i go.. wat happenin to my bike?? is it have to do with clutch plate n clutch cable???

 

also is it possbile to tune de bike until it can save super many oil???

hi guys.... think my mileage is ok... just now go pump petrol then remembered that i only pumped 7litres of petrol the previous time... so 233km for 7litres is about 33km/l.... so i think my mileage is still alright..

i also encountered the problem of being unable to kick down to 1st gear a few times too... kick liao still neutral... not too sure wat prob it is...

 

maybe is clutch plate cos last time ah chong check my bike he say i might have to change my clutch plate.... but still alrite for the time being...

nope... never change... still can use.... but sometimes i do get the prob... but its not very frequent... so still ok bah...

 

did u put ur cashcard the correct side? Maybe u put the wrong side ???

if not maybe ur IU spoil le.... but don take my words for it... cos i still quite newbie too....

 

best is hear what the other PKs say....

Do you have the small led light at the top? If not, either your wire is loose, or the fuse to the erp unit has blown.

Hi,

 

Notice that when i push my bike upright, my front brake filud only cover half of the plate but when i put it to side stand, it cover the whole round metal plate. If i am not wrong i used to have the whole metal plate covered when bike is upright. please advise if i need to top up the fuild.

Better don't save this kind of $. Clutch pad spolit very dangerous one lo. Later on expressway but can't change gears then jialat. I change mine for $80 (Thailand one) at planet. U might like to change yours, Koon price is around $110 (think is japan one). Futhermore, Koon's tech told me that if clutch really spolit then the whole bike might not move then have to call for towing, in this case more ex lo.
