Every month change engine oil. Preferbably XX W 50. Use thicker oil is better since singapore is a hot weather.:cheeky:

Meanwhile for coolant, change it half a year or yearly. Depending on your bike usage.

I strongly suggest you to join in the outing so that they can teach you how to maintain and D-I-Y your bike.

guys, cbr 150r can change rims other then stock? some mechanics said cant. and can gear box be changed without overhaul ?

Can change rim lah. Nothing is impossible like rim. lol :cheeky:

If i am not wrong, you need to take out your piston and piston ring to reach the gear box. Therefore, overhauling gear box for any bike is expensive. Just like how you overhaul con-rod and etc.

Kulai Trip - (for no other reason than that Simpang Bedok is not far enough)

This is my first time arranging this, so pardon the noobness.

Basically we will be going to Kulai for Nasi Lemak. This will be a good experience for all of us if we are ever going to do the convoy to Desaru... AND BEYOND)

Date: 30th December 2009

Time: 9:30pm

Place: Meet at Bukit Timah Al-Ameen

We will be taking the second link, connect to north-south highway towards Kuala Lumpur, exit at Kulai Jaya and then it's two right turns to the nasi lemak place.

i cant be sure abt gearbox. but last time when i changed clutch plates, the clutch plates are located on the right side of engine. i.e. just open side engine casing.

i guess there is a chance for the gears to be located on the left side engine casing. i.e. no need to remove engine block etc. but got to double confirm this w/ motorshop though.

:cheeky:

at malaysia nvr sell cbr cover sets ?

cover seat?

meaning the material used to wrap the seats?

yes, it is available.

for PVC material w/ some 3D reflective design will cost ard RM$28.

I think the left side cover is for the alternator(generator) and the gear box is in between the crank case main. I'm not sure though. Will have to check the parts manual.

Don, I think u get it wrong. Going by second link wouldn't pass dairy farm at all.

Guys, ride safely. Road is not for playing.

ya, my sentiments exact.

if not like that everybody will want a 'special stop' somewhere 'on the way'. then by the time we gather it's 1am already. being organizer is not easy.

For my coolant is below "lower" marking,is it a healthy sign?
