oh man i need help here guys. Today at PIE speed limit was 80km/hr but i was going at 100km/hr right infront of e camera i forgot to slow down as i was overtaking. U think anything will happen to me. If got fine also for how much?? Im a P-plate so how much will i get n how many points will i get too??

hmm... i think okie de lei... dun worry la... nothing will happen one.. usually when i go sch my speed is around 100 to 110km... i ride around 4mths liao... almost everyday like this speed also got nothing happen.. but if got see tp then must slow down la... haha...

u know where to find such covers? i tried a number of diy home fix shops al this but cant find the type u mentioned. ha

think if you never see any flash than its alright. usually i dont slow down and still travel at 100 along the cameras of expressway. due to the speedometer overgauging, i think you effectively only traveling at 80-90km/h. even if you really get caught the pts deducted for overshooting by 20km/h is 4demerit pts i think. plus fine of ard 100bucks. al this of what i know only lah. dont know whether will help. but dont worry lah. most prob is nothing de.

Hmm. usually bikes are too light to kann liao. Anyway our meter abit c*** up one. Don't think anything will happen to u. U check mirror and did the camera flash? if never then never kann lor.

how inaccurate is our speedometer? for instance we're travellin at 100km/hr, wat speed r we actually travelling at? anyone knows?..

 

btw, those speed cameras at expressways will flash one ar? haha, i juz know leh

Hmm. when u r travelling at 100, i think it is abt 92 - 94 nia. I know if u r travelling at 120, u r abt 105km nia. Last time tested by kazama.

I just checked at the Honda Dealer in BKK - they cost abt s$220 per pair Original Honda, they also sell them as single left or right fork .............

I go at 90 km on a 80km rd. Then the camera look at me then he see his watch and write down something. dunno got kann or not.

Whoa.. Cool!! I didn't know that.. Its kind of a good thing, coz so far on normal

neighbourhood roads, i've been going like 80+km/h.. (sometimes the road just empty

all the way, then2 like very tempting to go fast)

 

Everyday i worry whether i got kena by some hidden TP with speedgun or someting like

that.. On expressway i try to go as fast as i can (so far max is only 110 as i have only

changed engine oil once only)... But at speedcam area, i slow down to 95km/hr like that

eversince i know abt the speedometer lag thingy...

 

Anyway2, my bike so far has been okay lah.. not much problem, except for the not

enough grip thing due to stock tyres.. Is it juz me, but has any of you guyz like almost

lost balance while cornering through the filter on the expressway, then the wind

blow so hard from the side.. Or is it juz becoz of my stock tyres..

cbr150 consider sportsbikes? if yes, insurance izzit same compare to other sportsbike?

Dun see much cbr150 selling..hmm, may know how much izzit to get a 2nd hand ?

Yes. it is a sportsbike. Insurence is somehow or rather the same as other sports bike except RS125. Second hand depends on the number plate. If u r interested u must go and do some research on the shops and see they got sell or not lor.

NTUC insurance is usually by age and experience of the rider and the brand of the bike. All 2B bikes classified under 200cc. Quotation can get through website.

 

Mitsui insurance is usually by cc of the bike. Call for quotation.

 

Get your quotations from min. 2, there are more than 2 insurance companies out there.

 

For simplicity, at my age of 28, Mitsui seems to offer cheaper rates for 2B while NTUC offer cheaper rates for 2A. Better to compare when you get new bike, change bike or even renew insurance.

No need to go bike shop to buy insurance. For NTUC, they seems to have additional 5% discount when you get directly from them.
