i have a very bad habit of over doing things. i'm going to leave the rear hugger as it is, cos if i screw up it's going to be costly to replace the item seeing that it comes from Thailand.

maybe cos the Thailand parts come with 'carbon' look, and not really carbon fiber, that's why it's odd looking. i'd fabricate the rear hugger in real carbon fiber, but that project will cost me more than the hugger itself.

bro

u have a vehicle jack/stand ah?

how u removed the front mudguard?

i'm thinking of DIY spray my front fork to matt black.

cause some of the foreign workers from JB work till around 9pm and all heading back home ard 10pm.

i would think 11pm is a safer bet.

but generally, if spore side jam, means the jam at jb side is lesser and vice versa.

oh btw, does racing foot rest look nice on our CBR..? any idea?

ride safe.. ride responsibly.. give way to me..! :shades:

yes i have a car jack. front mud guard no need to jack. just remove the 4 screws which is easily accessible.

when removed, you will find a metal brace under the mud guard between the forks. i rode around for a week without my front mud guard while working on my project.

d0n has used the racing foot rest before, but i think he sold to the ex-racer now-boxer Derrick.

this jam so late is both for 1st and 2nd link?

Also, whats the deal with toll roads for either side, do motorcycles need to pay and if so, what is cheaper? 1st or 2nd link?

With car I never take 1st link, always 2nd link cause less traffic but dunno about motorcycles hehe

as mentioned yesterday we don't pay toll with the 1st link. that's how Mr Cheepo here pays S$9 per full tank.

oic

dint know can remove the mudguard w/o taking out the front wheel.

still contemplating whether to respray the front fork + main frame or not leh

just fixed up a digital voltmeter i bought frm the Product Mass Order thread some time back.

found a rather useful data table on the product packaging.

battery voltage when ignition switched off:

12-12.9V: Normal

battery voltage when engine is running:

13-15.9V: Normal

=>16V: Overcharge

maybe uncle lim can help verify the figures above?

im getting ard 13V when ignition switched off and 14.5V when engine idling.

looks like i dont need to replace my 1+yrs old battery that soon.

u can try stalking Fad. he was the only cbr150 owner around during our previous outing w/ aftermarket paintwork.

:cheeky:

his is red + white = fierce!

anyway, based on my own experience + checked around with other cbr150 riders who are using racing footrest, the general comment is that rear brake effectiveness will be reduced.

outlook wise, nothing too much of a difference. our stock footrest w/ the silver color part & holes looks rather nice in fact.

hence, it will be more of ability to corner low versus rear brake effectiveness tradeoff.

its literally the same concept as ppl can unscrew and steal ur mirrors, visor, balancers, footrest, fairings, etc etc... just that ppl dun actually do that lah..

but of cos.. try not to put too valuable stuff inside cos actually the box i would say.. can still be pry open one..

Hey don't anyhow ask people to stalk me. I already have Wandi as my stalker... hahaha

Malik88, i fully support you to respray! Gogogo. As long as not white + red can already. Though it means my non-stock paintwork wont be unique anymore, would be nice to see other cbr150 with nice colours. Perhaps even the Hannspree race replica =P Or can outsource to Zed, he got talent.
