btw any one know what could be the problem of unable to achieve 110km/h at 8k rpm ? as for 7.5k rpm i can get 100km/h which is a norm for our bike.. cos at 8k rpm my speed can be 105-108 at most.. n speedo needle still will move around..

 

still thinking will overhaul solve the problem or is the problem not even link to overhaul which is hard to gague..

when my bike it's travelling at 100-120km/h, its quite noisy and shaky as if the bike is going to explode.

 

but it really depends on what kind of noise you are talking about.

 

 

At 120kph, I only can hear the machine sound Hahaha....

Cool, good pickup and still able to reach speeds of 135kph. BTW, when you are at 135kph whats your RPM? Can let us know your RPM at 100kph and 110kph too?

 

Nvr really check. Only know that its at 9.5k rpm when the speed 135kph.

the norm speed at 7.5k rpm is 100km/h while 8k rpm is 110km/h.. limbat also say so.. same as what i observed..

 

so if u cant get 100km/h at 7.5k rpm or when you are 100km/h but rpm is higher than 7k rpm, so it will be underpower or some problem that require more power to achieve the same speed or rpm than the norm results.. same goes for 8k rpm and 110km/h..

 

unless some other can input different results than what i know..

I think its nice. I guess after awhile the colour wont be that bright, and it will match with your repsol paint.

The cable is greased lined on the inside, trying to add oil directly from the ends may not penetrate very far although it will help to lubricate the end point contact between the meter and the metal rod sticking out. With that being said, why not just put grease and close her up.

 

how about flood lube down the tube and... blow? =P

it's interesting to note that the speedometer is purely analog, while the tachometer is almost digital in construction. does explain why it's easy to replace a tacho with a digital readout, while the speedo is trickier.

yeah, it might seem too bright now, but after a few rounds on the road, the color should darken with a bit of dirt, then viola! hey, this means you don't have to keep cleaning it to keep the desired color!
