gd morning uncle lim!

hmmm i thought WD40 would be ok on the chain? cos Zed did point out to me the warning label on the packaging of the chain while i changed my chain at LAB some time back. it says not to use detergent or its equivalent as it corrodes some inner part of the chain.

WD40 is oil based so it should be ok..... no? i use maxima chain wax anyway.... BIG BIG can of it.....

well it definitely can.

but can it come back?

Haha. That one different story.. I think it's because going there and coming back we never stop to rest, just chiong all the way. That's why the bike cannot take it. :faint:

It's not how fast you ride, but how well you ride.

wah....strange leh

how come we all thot thai is like some heaven for cbr150 aftermarket parts.

:cheeky:

noted on the hugger. thanks for checking anyway.

have a gd ride home!

we wait for u for the clutch change session at AGL~

looks like our end-can really cannot put sticker.

sianz~

lucky i havent customise my HKS Silent Hi-power to stick on yet.

:p

i think for the time being I cant change the clutch yet, because my bike @ KL. dunno when coming back.

i tink at most yr cbr will behave like F1 car when the driver hit the brakes.

the rear led brakelight will flash in regular intervals (aka commonly known as strobe lights). u r one level higher than racing cars/wannabes!

:cheer:

steady.

where u got yr tyres?

pricing?

will get mine within a mth's time when the rear is more worn out.

will replace both front and back.

somehow the front tyre is ultra lasting. changed it ard 40,000km ago and it still looks new. :faint:

the strobing light can do at JB i think. cos the lorry also got strobe.

Surprisingly, my top speed is only 120KM/h...

Anyone know what could be wrong?

your technique of shifting gears the timing is wrong. u let me try, i see if i can churn out 140 for you  and hopefully its valve dont give way like mine did. LOL

tonight, clocked 150km/h sitting upright along AYE towards PIE.

i attribute it to the super cold air, with more oxygen molecules.

agreed, great observation. and also light weight rider.

Yup. Even if u still riding 2B bike. :sian:

ya cos u just take 2a, after u take 2a for 1 yr le then u will get back 24 pts. then if u take cl2, u will be abck to square one

i didn't sleep.

just didn't pay attention. you in front distracted me.

lol

Yeah speeding to me is not worth it.. but i take comfort in the Damn On and Hiong Charger (DOHC) engine that 4 valves open @ 6k & 9k RPM.... power at my fingertips when i need whenever i need it! CBR power!!! I cant begin to imagine super four's VTEC engine....

ur this sentence a bit contradicting hor?

LOL abit abit. :cheeky:

hello. welcome to the club, pls check yr EO regularly, dont whack like crazy. and take good care of your bike if not valve and piston gone,... hong kan lor.

Guys........... if bike drink EO - must repair leow ............ Piston rings not good laaaa

ya i suggest his bike doing a overhaul.

Don, his breakdown happen on the NSH near Taiping - bike toll to KL for repair bec his dad has a friend there. Poor ZR ............... :(

haha thanks richard for your help yeah! :cheeky:

Yeap, that wouold be me... sometimes i wear a YAMAHA jacket also... Wahhahahha!! Ride Honda wear Yamaha... confuse people only, and you can usually see me in top boots... from far already can hear me walking like cowboy.

I think my bike also due for overhaul already... but as long as it starts in the morning and still moves.... its good enough... for now, until i strike 4D/Toto :cheeky:

yeah, pls overhaul your bike and do not ride out to melaka. judging by what u say i think your bike is in a very critical case. sell yr YBR n RXK then faster repair it.

but bear in mind once a vehicle reach a certain age. problem surfaces. problem after problem.

thanks for looking out for ZR when you guys were out.

the CBR150 thread would crumble w/o the incessant kok-talking of Cpt ZR!

haha we look out for each other la.

do they have the relevant spare parts there for the repair?

hm...looks like we can put on hold the plans to do up the clutch.

i will proceed to change out my EO while waiting for confirmation from you on the clutch k. EO reached 3K km already.

i wouldnt recommend using WD40 for washing of chain.

cause of the kerosene content.

i tink so far the safest to use is diesel & maybe turpentine.

i ever tried simply wiping the chain w/ a piece of rag.

cause i use EO for chain lubbing. the dirt doesnt stick on to the chain along w/ chain lube.

bro

come share story leh

full throttle?

somemore u using aftermarket CDI

over-rev?

:cheeky:

technically i feel the bike should be able to make it if maintain below red zone.

w/ the EO doing its job + strong highway winds to cool the radiator, shouldn't be a problem i thought...

nope u are wrong!.

our bike is liquid cooled yes, but our engine do not have cooling fins that will help even though got wind. because our engine is one block like tat without a cooling fin, the wind will cool the engine, yes, but its NOT ENOUGH, and its not as effective as those which have the cooling fins.

i did not over rev, i maintain my rpm at 8.5 k or 9 and occationally 10k rpm for overtaking. other than that no more.

and also i from GP all the way to Ayer kerok Jejentas from full tank all the way to reserve.. LOL . u think leh?

Fishy .... in theory you are right most older bikes & car do eat some EO, techincally itis not suppose to. Loss of EO is due to many factors - commonly is the engine gasket leaking or the bottom screw not tighten correctly. The worst of them is the piston rings being worn out - then consumption of EO will be higher. Loss of EO will result in High temperature & higher fuel consumption as well. It happen to me b4, the bike overheated & jammed up, kena push all the way to a gas station to by EO. :faint:

Ahh... i see... Your bike overheated and nothing spoilt?
