Accident opposite SIM

There was an accident at the busstop opposite SIM on 11th July, wed, at about 5.50pm.

 

What happen was in the event of avoiding a taxi which swerve into his lane, the dark grey mazda 3 knocked down a motorcycle on his left.

Taxi on 1st lane, Mazda on 2nd lane, and motorcycle on 3rd lane(left most lane).

 

Anyone who oversee the whole event willing to be a witness for the motorcyclist so that he can claim medical fees as well as repair fees from the Mazda's insurance?

 

Please help.

taxi go swerve into mazda's lane to avoid the long queue of those car doing U-turn at maju camp there.. tink the taxi got brake abit.. must say its the taxi's fault.. den mazda driver in order to siam the taxi knock down the motorcycle on the left.. the mazda also got brake..

 

mazda brake + swerve into the motorcycle lane den end up the side of the car hit the motorcycle lor..

 

 

eh.. the rider is my father.. suffer from some external injuries.. doctor give 5days mc but tink he resting for 1day only..

Wa 5 days MC, means police case already leh. Correct me if I am wrong, more than 3 days is considered Police Case.

 

So I guess the Taxi escape from the scene of the crime and never stop and look back rite? Anyways better tell your father to rest more and if got any pain better see doctor quickly. Accident may seems alright from the outside but dunno wat is happening in the inside.

 

Like me, now have a small metal rod in my wrist due to RTA. So don't take it lightly. Wish your father a speedy recovery.

its always the old taxi drivers. they think they're v. experienced and stuff. i still rmb one caused me to fail my prac 6. and almost killed me! zz

Learn to live with it. They're part and parcel of the road. I used to get really mad at them all the time but after a year or so on the road I just learnt to accept it. I just take that one of their primary roles on the road is to kill a rider so each time I encounter a reckless taxi driver I'll just shake my head. No point getting angry la..that's how they drive. Just stay clear of them whenever possible.

THink your dad has a good chance of winning provided he was travelling straight down the left lane when the mazda swerve into his lane. Make sure that the key points were recorded in the accident form that:

 

1. Your father was travelling straight

2. The Mazda swerved suddenly without allowing reaction time

3. Evidence of collision marks/dents/scratch on the side of car. This is a very telling evidence that upon impact, it was the Mazda that was turning.

Cuz that queue for U-turns is usually very very long and I guess the taxi driver dun have the patience to wait... since when taxi drivers have patience anyway?

That road is very dangerous. Its always either jammed or when the road is empty, everyone will just drive very fast along the road....
