In the meantime, I still have to turn to Hooha Cafe for the 400 or 500 gram Tenderloin. Medium rare, no sauce (just salt and pepper sprinkled) and blood oozing out when you cut into it.

sprinkled herbs' fine, but the only reason i would put sauce is becoz i'm eating steak that's tasteless and dry as paper-mache...

botak jones is at AMK Ave 5, u go by Yio Chu Kang Rd... turn left to AMK Ave 5, after the petrol station, turn into the car park... there's a kopitiam~ Botak Jones is there.

Firstly, I do have to apologize cos I am no connoisseur when it comes to steak so when you start to talk about parts of the steak, ribeye, tenderloin, etc, I do get . Whatever reviews that I do on steaks are purely based on my tastebuds. I've never ordered the steaks at this Western Food Pelangi to be cooked rare or medium rare. I just order and eat when the food arrives. All I can say is, the steaks are decent and delicious to eat. For that price, they are value for money and have made me return there many times when I am in the mood for steaks. You can find the place at the first floor of City Plaza in Geylang. It is exactly below the famous Malay version of KFC restaurant, Arnolds...

I dreamt about the steak I had at Orange County USA.

 

It was at a restuarant in the middle of some no where hills/mountains and the place if decorated with ties they cut off those folks who went there with their ties.

 

Its smelt like piss though.

 

But the steak is good.

i discovered a new halal western food place at jalan kayu earlier this week, but the portions are quite small... so i didn't post here~~

it's located along the same stretch with the jalan kayu prata there.... can't miss it~ signboard super bright and big

anyway, for that price... please dun go there expecting wagyu or something outrageous okay, it does have some tough bits of sinew but the good taste of beef is definately there~
