no, none of us here has encountered any "coil problem". its only the pre-06 cbr1000 that has such a problem.

damn sad manz....honda how can build such thing 1....haiz....i still holding my 1K dream till honda solve the coil problem leh....

for the coil issue is on the 1k but 06 onwards look like haf sum improvement , but honda stil haf nt declare the problem solve..

oh... thank alot ppls for giving me such a good info, anyway hoping honda will reslove the problem soon. I guess 600cc not so much right mainly on 1k cc. I also wan to know when u guys do normal run in that time wat is the max speed u all went up to for 600cc and how high rpm do u all raven.

normal 4k rpm at 6th gear already "near" legal limit liao.

 

street riding speed will be just fine.

finally managed to change my windshield and slap on a new number plate.

 

ended up accidentally tearing chunks of the rubber stopper off trying to pull it out.

 

finally after pulling them all out then i realized the correct technique. pull and twist the top part, but pull out the thread from below. i kept trying to pull it out from the top, forcing the thick-thick lower stopper through.

 

well at least its on.

i also eager to wait for local reviews....but base on magz...it a 600cc class killer....

 

cant go wrong with honda....yet w/o the oil problem....only real problem is "under power"...when compare with any 1000cc bike.

hey lastdance did u saw u at TTS on tue night and u were with 2 other frens cause i saw the same model if moviestar cbr when i was collecting my bike. Well unless u sold ur bike or someone got the same paintwork as u. Anyway jus asking la.

i haven approach vendor for quotation yet, wait when i order another batch for my CCA i will get a quote. but since less than 10, expect to pay up to $25. in any case, i've got the thinner material dri-fit and its quite good, think no need order the thicker version.
