wah i damn sian.. i just checked with easyfairings and they just only shipped my fairings. when no money cbrfairings was selling the 09-10 model and fjt had the left headlamp. when got money to buy, cbrfairings never sell the 09-10 model and fjt had no stock. cbrfairings is like US$200 cheaper la! and now even boon siew has run out of stock for the left headlamp.

 

and sorry bro. i only left with one headlamp on the right. i think i need it. lol. unless you wanna sell me your left? ((=

same problem as me.. i was wondering may be we need to spray some WD40 on the nut of the mirror but i prefer R1 kinda of mirror easier to fold

yeah i think got those aftermarket type of mount,but i think need change the mirror also.looking for a mount that can fit stock mirror.

Im not sure if vfr800 mirrors can fit on our bike. Can try ask fjt.

Guys. Im gonna grab a class 2 bike soon in two months time. I'm tied between suzuki, honda and yamaha. I understand each machine is different in terms of handling and etc. So yeah i guess im in the right place to ask you guys how do you rate Honda cbr 600 in terms of handling, speed, parts, accessories and market value. Im doing research on all the three models to ensure i do make the right choice. Hope you guys can share with me what to look out for and stuff.

 

1) Comfortable for normal road usage?

3) market value

4) handling

5) servicing

6) the pros and cons of different year model.

1)yes i find it very comfortable for everday road usage

2)yes,u can easily find/sell those AM parts

3)i guess it still be there,like so.when selling a bike there no way to earn in it.

4)very good,feel good

5)i would say almost same as cl2A bike(Super4)

I see i see. What do you guys service when the time comes ? Engine oil, plug, air filter, oil filter . And and when do you guys do valve clearance ? Is it a must to install a Power commander ?

engine oil depend on what "brand" you use.i think for plug no need to change(my S4 4years nv change plug still ok),air filter i also think 1 year wash 1 time,oil filter do same with engine oil.not sure about valve clearance.Nope PC3 is not a must.Unless u got a full system,race air filter.then "best" if u get a PC3.Am not sure if a PC3 make your bike F/C better.maybe a pro can help this out.

Just serviced my bike at Racewerks yesterday. Came to change EO and oil filter but the guy did an extra service by degreasing my chain and lubing it at no extra cost. And replaced my balancer too. I really like the way they treat and pamper your bike, as if it was their own. Thumbs up, Racewerks!

 

Anw, apart from that, while he was changing my oil filter, i notice the previous one was hiflo filter instead of original honda. And the last oil filter change i did was at bikewe*ks(edit). Quite disappointed with that.

hey guys since u guy r also riding the same bike..can i ask is it a must to use o2 stabilizer if u a using an end can...i am currently riding CBR6 05-06..i am using arrow pipe...sometime the flow of oil is stuck when i am riding...??anyone can comment...

apish88 - r u the ex cbr rider (i dun think so) cause another rider here use to have his nick apish... anyway.. cl2 bike all are abt the same.. every new rider go to every thread to ask which is a good cl2 bike. It all depend on what is the purpose that u wan to max out from ur cl2 bike. Personally for track -yamaha and kawa, for daily ride cbr/suzuki. when u get ur bike than u decide what u wan to mod from there... cl2 bike and normal bike is the same.. i dun believe there is a BEST EO in the world it all depend on what brand u prefer. PC3, slip on, race fairing and etc.. are all ADD ONZ..

 

hellsfury - a fake ASTAR (whether gloves or jacket) is the the color are slightly off, logo or the brand tag are different (there is no version 1 or 2 unless ur gloves or jacket belong to 10yr ago) sitiching are slightly different and after all it all depend on seller how u look into the item, each have it own way to see, feel and comment on the item. Don't always depend on others but u can treat it as a feedback, view already then consider fake or non fake. I am not siding the seller cause i dun even know who is he i am saying this as general cause i also know some shop in sg sel fake Astar item.

 

sindefectos - i have not service my bike... haiz.. no time.. exam this mth so hopefully by mth end i can go bikewerk to service my bike i will arrange a meet up maybe on 22nd april after my exam k.

 

koxie - i dun understand ur request u wan to make ur race fairing and mod it into 1 seater bike? if it is there are some bikeshop can do but it gonna be quite ugly cause thet just fiber it leh.. and price is not cheap. U must as well but a single seater or buy another china made race fairing with single seat to replace ur current.
