im almost at 20k and checked the lube on the shaft and still has plenty plenty ley.

 

maybe needs a yearly check, mine's abt 7mths old.

 

Mine still a long way to go......

Lube not really got use.. As with wheel bearing. Cos the one that gave way for mine was at the swing arm.. The whole swing arm has to be down to inspect the bearing.. This is going to be expensive 'labour' charges in singapore..

 

Can send me the pics I confirm with the kaki see if we are talking about the same thing....

Checked out local shopping ctr mag corner, kinobuniya and mustafa.. All dun have.. Yet to check borders thou.. :cry:

You can't find this in any book stores, even borders was there yesterday. Look for the guy that does mass order in the forum. He will have it I ever ordered from him before..

As advised by the Malaysian counter part, please do check you bearings after every tire change. It's the main cause of shaft failure among the shaft driven bikes. Even the FJR, STX and BMW also had this problem. Abuse from the riders is the usual suspect.....

Dun thin its the wheel bearing that is causing the fault.. Cos the part that broke is much higher on the shaft.

As advised by the Malaysian counter part, please do check you bearings after every tire change. It's the main cause of shaft failure among the shaft driven bikes. Even the FJR, STX and BMW also had this problem. Abuse from the riders is the usual suspect.....

Compare to your previosu ride (STx)

This mirror looks big but the view is much restricted compare to STx. Cant really see the rear unless you shift urself or your head abit..

Still love my STx mirrors.

I don't really know if it's the wheel bearings problem too. But the Malaysian kaki do told me that by replacing the wheel bearing actually prevents the problem. So far his and his kakis' GTR works fine. Their mileage are also very high with one hitting almost 100k...

Fellow riders.. pls do not leave your belongings unattended at GP esso or petronas.. even for seconds. My wallet got stolen this morning from my tank bag. I left it unattended for less then 20 seconds cos went to the counter. So pls be careful..

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

ive heard of unattended helmets vanishing but a wallet from inside a tank bag under 20s is daringly new.

 

 

a decoy should be setup to nap the buggers then leave them out to dry.

Helmet ya I was one of the victim whose helmet was snatch away while I was eating at jb near thoes bike shop...haiz dame sad n angry .did nt get to catch the bugger cause they were well plan with a get away bike waiting ...

They cld not be bothered.. say camera not facing there n all.. feel they have parts to play as well.. anyway, lesson learned.. we jus have to be more careful... its malaysia afterall.. everthing also BOLEH!!!
