How come for a 5 mins job must leave the bike for a week? What's the difference between Euro and US model in terms of the faulty part? Are they going to wait till someone gets kill then they action? I recall back in 2010 I had the same recall and the installation of the part only took less than 10 mins.

I finally got my GTR 1400. Sweet ride. But I am curious, anyone had the Brake Lock issue before? How was it resolved or retified?

 

Which brake? Front or rear?

Be honest..... It's full of s**t..... Period.... Even our neighbor the support is 110% better in terms of knowledge and backup.... Imagine to buy 1 screw I must buy the whole assembly unit? While the part book shows the number and available for sale....... Just a thought....

To be honest, owners need to write to Kawasaki Japan directly and have them take action. Then only will "Forevershine" do something about the recall. Writing to Kawasaki Japan is the fastest way and they have excellent customer service and never want to lose face.

 

Actually, I am very puzzled. Everyone in Singapore knows that "Forevershine" has many issues and bad customer service and maintainence, but they still hold the dealership. Very strange as there are so many businesses owner who want to take over and do a better job and sales numbers. I am certain that if they do provide proper servicing and customer services as well as stock up the parts, many Singaporeans will buy Kawasaki as they produce very good and beautiful bikes now.

 

Wondering whether we can directly email to kawasaki japan to check bout e recall issue hmmmm...

Rear brake. The brake pads sometimes do not dis-engage. causing a drag.

 

Double check your rear brake pedal... You may need to adjust...... Or you may have activated the rear brakes while riding causing heat to build up and jamming the piston. One way to check is you brake disc if there's dicolouration marks. Just a suggestion.

So "impress" by their service. Suddenly after a few emails the recall is here and their parts have arrive for them to start fixing the fault.

Riding a '12 GTR1400. Received the recall letter today.

Wonder how long will they takes to fix the problem?

There's nothing else that hurts other then your own ego

Fixing is 20 mins. But need to leave bike at least half day. MUST book. If not they dont entertain pretend to talk so nice to you asking to book and come another day. I came without booking and they insist for me to come another day when there is only 2 bikes in que. I insisted that they do it same day. Then they lan lan excepted my request and ask me to come collect bike at 4.30pm. I was there at 10am. Left the bike there and reveived a call one hr later and bike is ready. Wtf.

Was there today late morning... had claim both my friend's and mine's ~ Recall.:thumb:

 

Time taken for Replacement: Appox 20min.:cheeky:

 

*Mine was a 2nd Hand Unit, Mr Ang Check, Validated & Mine was work on as it happen there was an empty slot... Very happy today...

Print out your Log Card, then head down to verify with Mr Ang... I did the same too...
