Hi all, Please advise me on this issue... my bike suddenly died while i was turning into my carpark.. tried to start in vain but bike simply would not start! luckily i have already reached my carpark.

Before that on the way home, a few times while in gear 1 i started to feel the bike have no power to move off when i trottle. Thinking of sending the bike to shop tomorrow, suddenly it "died"

Took out the spark plug, and saw that it has turn black!! can someone tell me how come the spark plug will get burnt? i just had my carb serviced as i just got the bike 2nd handed. Is it the way i ride? or is there problem with the carb? please advice..........

plug will be black after using..

if can't start, try changing a plug. if still can't, means somewhere spoil.. could be magnet coil..

Maybe you can post the pics of the burnt plug for us to see if something is wrong?

Steps to do a proper KNNBCCB with middle finger.

1. Bow down slightly, looking intensely at objective

2. Like a raging bull, hop and jog slowly towards objective

3. Take your left palm and slap it hard on the right mid-arm with a SLAP!

4. With charisma, raise right arm, whilst showing middle finger (with left palm trapped in bend right arm)

5. Shout! KNNBCCB

Its always nice to have a spare plug with you, as well as spare bulbs. If unker Tian Po is in a bad mood he wont listen to "excuses" that your bike bulb only just blow.

Something similar happen to me after my EX mechanic service my carb.. the only different is that my plug didn't turn black.. Anyway below is Ah Beng's conclusion

1) Carb timing out (Lost Power when moving off, got problem starting bike everytime engine cool off)

2) Plug too wet, carb have white fume out (Plug wear off easily+EO drain faster) due to Piston having problem

3) If can't live with problem 2 then need overhaul......
