[CLOSED] SBF Yamaha X1

any bros here did modifications to the original yamaha exhaust pipe that came w/ the bike?

 

so far the different ways to mod this pipe i've heard frm mechanics:

1. cut open the exhaust and remove silencer & all other stuff then weld back the exhaust

2. directly drill a hole through the exhaust without cutting it open

3. drilling of hole or holes along the exhaust

 

i'm exploring option number 3. any guys done any of the mods before can pls share yr experience? thanks

i'm actually wondering if using method 3 can produce softer sound and yet be reversible. meaning it's possible to use a bolt/screw or something to actually cover the hole and the pipe will sound like original stock pipe again

 

wat do u tink? possible or not?

dont ask me where they get such a long drill bit to do the drilling though

my x1 machine price 2nd hand is 2400....

i down 600....

insurance 340 3rd party...

mthly i pay 115 for 36 mths....

115 x 36 = $4140

 

X1 2nd hand plus insurance : 2400 + 340 = $2740

 

So can i say the interest : 4140 + 600 - 2740 = $2000

machine price 1st hand (forget already)

down 800

monthly of 136 for 24months

1st rider, insurance is fire and theft i think but definately not 3rd party insurance

yea, we did reg... cos no reg can't join wor... reg is still open though the last day is already over. my friend has called in to ask the admin le... faster go & reg for those who haven! anyway, it's FOC!!! & also, if u go there dun feel like joinin the convoy, then dun join lo... but! muz reg so tat in case u wanna join, can join wor...
