I am new to this X1 portal but i have got some problems (probably serious) with my X1, hope anyone can help...

 

Whenever i decelerate to a stop (with clutch pulled) , my X1 will produce the "tak tak tak" sound, coming from beneath of my foot rest.

 

I tried to replicate that by putting my bike on full stand, throttle thru and reduce speed, i can't get the same sound. After reading so many threads here, i suspect it has something to do with my gone-case Clutch Plate. Anyone can advise?

 

Also, i have been wanting to approach an honest mechanics to 'diagnose' the problem, anyone can recommend a trust-worthy mechanics for X1?

Thank you all for the replies.

Some bros suggested that i fix the bearing... but was kinda noob on this, aren't bearing fixed on the centre of the wheels? My "tak tak" sound came from under my footrest and not from the wheels.

 

Sigh....

 

Wanted to go to LAB today to fix the problem but i couldn't replicate the symptom today.

 

The sound only come out after

1) I climb a slope

2) I bent slightly to negotiage a turn.

3) I pillion for sometime......

 

Can anyone shed some light...? been very troubled by these problems....

btw guys, eva got into an accident, just called her just now when she sms me, but anyway, i think she should be fine with minor injuries and still can go dating after that, but the bike has been towed away.

 

hope she recovers soon and the bike not much of problem. =)

I wanna get the engine cover, that part is coving the small front sprocket. Then i also wanna get the underseat tray. Cos got a underseat cover from and forumer and it cannot fit in.. So planning getting from a scrapyard if they have.. I also wanna replace my underseat plastic panel (cracked) where it's the joint of the seat when open up..

 

Lastly, i wanna replace my seat. It has no cushion and very uncomfortable when travelling long distance.

 

i'll try bplus first and if the price is right then i get from them. Cos ah boy told me a few bucks can get it le.. I wonder how much is his few bucks..
