hi fellows x1s.... recently i notice my x1 not very stable... everytime kickstart will auto die off.. if nv on choke or throttle totally cannot start juz by kicking.... izzit e spark plug need to change liao? but i change once at 3k now 5k liaoz... or izzit e spark plug i change last time sux? which cost 8 bucks at hkl....

where need to get so expensive plug?

the $2 Denso or NGK plug frm LAB is good enough

 

anyway doesthe problem occur everytime u start t he bike or only when the bike has been left alone for a long time? e.g. overnight

haiz.. long time din go in, dun really know the road well when coming back.

 

anyway, can i use TT900 on spoky rims? does it require innertube? what if i want to change to sports rim in future? do i have to change the tyre also?

anyway it is true that the edge of the aftermarket spokes (the part where they turn to adjust the spoke tension) tend to rust overtime

Mikuku suspension ard RM$120

TT900 tyres (thailand-made) ard RM$130

sportsrims ard RM$180+

 

tink the prices quoted for these few parts are roughly abt the same as LAB

just that in JB u probably can get better worksmanship & get to view the different models etc before u need to pay $$

spoke rims = must use tube tyres unless u go modify w/ some rubber thingy which some bro mentioned last time (until now i still cant find this product though)

 

anyway the gd news is..my mechanic did tell me my current tube TT900 can be used like tubeless tyres w/o inner tube if i were to change to sportsrims

 

not too sure if there's gonna be any side effects etc though..

 

so a safe bet will be for u to change to tubeless tyres now then put inner tube for spoke rims

nxt time wan to change sportsrims then can just change

nieways, dare is a diff btw da tube n tubeless, ie. da side of da tube fer tubeless is harder to prevent from piiIAAAKKK!!! hehehehehe

tubes da generally softer coz da main impact'll be on da tube..dats y lotsa time tube always pssssstttttt first...

sometimes dese mechanics all say can one..i'd go fer safety..else manufacturer wont sell tube and tubeless versions...might as well sell unisex and upz da price!

Mikuku suspension ard RM$120 ----> LAB selling S$60

TT900 tyres (thailand-made) ard RM$130 ----> LAB selling S$65

sportsrims ard RM$180+ ----> LAB selling S$90+
