WAH HONDA XL185!!! dun want then sell me.. wahaha..

by the way.. i ride my KTM 200EGS everyday.. hmm change engine bearings about 1-1.5years about 300 erm as for 2t i ride daily from tampines to town and back last me about 2 weeks sprocket ratio would be 14t/42t as for piston rings.. depends also.. just don't use engine braking or release throttle at high speeds..clutch in when releasing throttle at high speeds..servicing valve once a year cost about 120... shock bushing once a year about 70 fuel can last me 5 trips from tampines to town.. equivelent to 2.5days full tank to hit reserve + enough to go to the gas stations.. once i switch to reserve at start of sle all the way to JB shell.. still can take it.. well all you need to know is that if the bike gives the slightest problem.. get it repaired. if you don't, when it gets worse.. it'll cost a bomb for repairs..

sorry guys.. wanna ask a newbie question.. whats the diff between a motard and a scrambler? or are they the same? haha

basically built on the same kind of frame.

scramblers are the normal offroads ones that you know.

while motards are fitted with smaller (usually) rims and road tires (w/o the knobs of their offroad counterparts).

and a souped up motard usually have shorty fork, bigger brake disc, and ya, it is a bit shorter compared to the offroad version cause of the smaller rims.

hope my 2 cents help

I guess that is the normal mindset of a caring KTM owner...

Mine is on the way...

After looking for several WRs... I ended up with KTM as well...

Fall in love at first sight...:lovestruck:

hi, i'm noob....

so i'm gonna ask a noob qn,

what is the typical fc for a scram...

anyone in particular that is more suitable for on road use

and relatively low maintainance...

thanx

if u want more hassle free get a 4 stroke...

2 stroke u need to bring 2T and all that... kinda troublesome...

DR200 can hit 30+ for 1 litre...

My KTM recently clocked about 15 for 1 litre...

if u only want to ride it on the road... DR will be a good choice...

My friend has a DR for road and WR4 for trail...
