Bro actually for small cc bikes there's no need to change to oped pod filter. Esp for 4 strokes. Reason is because If u don't intend to change carb, u have to set the carb again for the open pod, which in certain cases changing the needle. So it's not very worth it if u're using and open pod and u're using standard carb. Airbox is much better, there's more noticeable power in the low end of the powerband.

Point is, rather than changing to a k&n open pod and spending nearly 100 bucks, stick to the airbox. Unless u're changing the carb. Coz there's much to be done to the standard carb once u use the open pod.

the k&n air filter available for spark is the panel kind.. not the open pod..

open up ur stock airbox and see the air filter inside.. the rectangle yellowish-brownish(if dirty) thing..

that's ur air filter..

by using hi-flow air panel, u're allowing higher air intake to ur carb and also cleaner air.. as those panel has better filtering system..

not forgeting to re-tune ur bike to accomodate the higher air flow..

btw i selling my JFC air filter.. almost like k&n.. cheap n good...

How much are u selling? Is it washable? Suitable for Spark?

Okay. I just went to HKL just not and they are selling K&N cone air filter for spark135 at $65. Point to take note of:

1) It is a modified version therefore it fits nicely once the air box is taken out.

2) It will filter away dust but water still may seep through the filter fibre hence leaking into the carb(which obviously is not a good thing).

3) Air/Oil ratio needs to be tuned since air flow will be higher after fitting the filter.

it's or spark/x1r..

hw much? $50 ok?

washable yes, the same way u wash/maintain/clean/oil the k&n.. u can use k&n cleaner/recharging kit..

mine is not OPEN POD air filter hor..

mine is the PANEL kind.. like your stock filter.. but with higher air flow and better filtering rate of dust/etc etc..

K&N have 2 types for our bike..

1) Open Pod (Pineapple/Cone - whatever ppl call it..)

2) Panel

*impt notes*

k&n does not fabricate filter for our bikes.. so those selling on the market are custom-made-with-some-modification-to-fit a spark/x1r..

Wahseh.

I went to HKL to open port and fixed the K&N oval air filter. Have to do some tuning for your oil/air ratio. After that, the bike feels lighter and its easier on the throttle. Damn shiok !
