Humph...

Allow me to rebut a coupla points some of you folk made..

Not all lady drivers are like that: true...but MOST female drivers are like that.

There are male drivers like that too: true as well...but when males perform stunts, you'll find they did it deliberately most of the time...a few will wave an apology, most will glance at you and give you that 'can't be bothered' face...that shows they were aware of your presence but tried their luck anyway. But when females perform stunts, ride pass them and you'll find they are staring blankly ahead; they DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU WERE THERE! Which is more dangerous I ask you?

There are female drivers who drive more fiercely than their male counterparts:a small minority again...do you see droves of fierce female drivers around? Rare breed they are.

this is the point im trying to make in another thread...not "dont have"..but rare..

Don't mess with old farts. Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill.

Bullshit and brilliance only come with age and experience.

these i have to agree. females always think too much, not abt the road ahead but of other things :faint: being a passager sometime i really wonder wats on their mind especially when they perform stunts unintentionally :giddy: never have this problem with male drivers. 'cos we don't think too much, only abt how to perform some stunts correctly & safely to get to destination ASAP

For me, I have seen some of my female friends, the way they drive like nobody business. Still remember got once, I was in my female friend's car, we were heading from Tampines to NTUC resort. The trip nearly cause my life, she was driving without signaling, never slow down for humps, jam hard brakes (not e-brake), 50km road drive about 90km/hr. The worse part, when the car with turning into a left bend ( I was siting for the rear right of the car ), her car started to move outwards onto the dividers and she did a e-brake because too fast liao (Dont know how to explain lah, abit diffcult to type out but i was damn scare)...I was holding to my dear life... I think should rode my bike out that day, guess more safer....From that day onwards, I never sat in her car again....

Still remember once, My friend and I was heading to the airport to drop some goods...(Anyone know the route from Change Japanese school to Prison to Aiport?) Got this freaking 7 sitter car, the driver drove his car till so slow (Max. give her and I MEANT her 40km/hr) on that str. road....We were freaking late for delivery, kept horning at her because its a 1 lane road..cannot overtake! Those lorries also going to airport behide us also start to horn at the driver (DRIVE FASTER LAH, WE ARE FREAKING LATE..think got 2 or 3 lorries behide us lah)....that driver still continue to drive at that kind of speed, LPPL lor...keep driving behide that car till a junction, which we need to turn right! CB also want to turn right (That time Changi road only 1 lane to and from, now 2 lanes liao...I think ppl complain about this kind of drivers)

My friend did some stunts, tried to push her to the left near to the kerb and overtake and so did the rest...kept pushing them on to the extreme left of the lane and overtake...when we passed the car, we stare at the driver and realised it was a HER and I gave her the international sign and threw my coke can out but never hit her car lah and my friend speed off....

I am not saying all female drivers are bad drivers but those female drivers that I have encountered are bad! Maybe my femalte friends limited lah...hahaha

There are crap drivers of either gender, but why do you hear us complain about female drivers more? No matter what the actual numbers are, there are definitely more dangerous female drivers than their male counterparts. It is the cold hard fact, which nobody can deny.

I voted NO, and I am not going to bash all female drivers, because I've seen some very good ones. However, many female drivers (including some of my close friends and relatives) drive very carelessly. Their minds are not on the road, and they are very easily distracted by things like what's playing on the radio, what's on the sides of the road, etc.

Another thing is safety checks. When I sit beside them, I am the one checking the blindspot instinctively instead of them! I once asked this lady driver why she doesn't signal or check and her reply was "no need one lah". With that kind of attitude, how safe can the road get? I have literally "guided" my lady driver friends to do lane changes or right turns for countless times. I have to yell "STOP!" and then "GO GO GO!" to avoid accidents. Afterwards they just give me the typical silly smile or the bochap face. :nono:

Please, passing the TP test doesn't mean much. It merely states that you can handle the test vehicle (a 1.6L manual with only about 100 horses) at slow speeds around the test center. (Provided you didn't pass it wearing low-cut top and miniskirt!) The learning curve on the real roads is very steep, so don't you get cocky and think that you are "ready for the real world". After riding for a few years, I still feel that there is much much more to learn to survive the roads.

We should have a dress code for driving test just like riding test. You must be at least dressed in t-shirt and jeans. No miniskirts, heels or low cut tops.

good point there...

so probably the best solution is to ban females from taking class 3 or driving

I know a driver exactly like that. You think you had it bad, try sitting in front, everything looks scarier from there. Took a lift after a late night out, got out of the car after less than 5 km. All the passengers decided to take a cab instead

To me, a lot of women drivers have non-existent road situational awareness. Perhaps guys having been thru NS tend to 'watch' out for things. Of cos this doesnt apply to everyone..

Sooo, pack 'em to camp and let the learning begin :thumb:

Are you getting sick and tired of this? I am. 2 days ago i just changed a louder horn, i needn't say whos the first 2 victims of my new horn. First was on adam rd, near the pie changi exit. This gal was heading towards lornie rd when suddenly she decided to cut over the chevron markings into pie changi in front of me. I was already anticipating her to cut in, so i let her in halfway...but i suddenly blasted my horn. She got shocked till her car rocked violently and stopped half on the rd half on the chevron markings.

wah.. r there really so many bad female drivers out there ? sounds damn scary sia.. personally i did encounter one female driver who banged me from behind.. i was headin to camp one morning n stopped at this particular junction.. i was bored so i looked at who was beside me.. woo hoo.. chio bu driver.. not bad sia.. hahaha.. ok lights green n we went off.. as i was approachin the next junction the lights turn amber so i slowed down n stopped.. tats when i heard the screech of tires from behind n the next thing i knew the car at the back hit me n i flew to the middle of the road.. i didnt noe how i managed to stay on the bike but i did..

anyway.. the car n i stopped at the side of the road.. n the driver turned out to be the same veggie i was bioing at b4.. hahaha.. then her husband who was sittin at the back came out to negotiate wif me (nb.. whr did he came out from).. he told me his wife tot i was goin to cheong amber light so she sped up.. ya man.. tell tat to the insurance company.. hahaha

i was thinkin perhaps to make it mandatory for female drivers to put up a warnin sign tellin other drivers to look out for them.. eg "look out! female driver inside" ya.. something liddat.. lolz :cheeky:

probably because most of them do not drive often(fetched around by the guys mah!), they dont know the route well...thats why they sometimes miss the turns..

some lady drivers insist in being unfamiliar with the road in spite of having been there countless times...
