The meet had been cancel due most of the community member are busy on their commitments.

 

I had met up with Kushinagar for the discussion.

 

And will also held SingaporeBike Anniversary in this coming up event,

 

So we were getting in more prizes and food.

 

It will be divided into 2 section.

 

Earlier part of the day will be the SBF Anniversary and Later part of the day with be the Cubs Anniversary

Guys & Gal, the cubs anniversary event is still ON and do continue to discuss our event as it's taking place after the SBF anniversary event in the evening.

 

That is to say, after the rest disperse, cubs community members will be using the chalets starting from 6.30pm onwards. I will cater the BBQ dinner and pse plan some indoor games to play.

 

Committee members please bring some clothing to shower & change after the day event. Anyone wants liqour? But be advised not to drink & ride, ok.

How's the game area demarcation like?

Within the chalet compound or out of it?

Bear in mind this will be probably after our bbq dinner and that is to say it's night liao and based on yesterday recce (again) at the chalet, it's dark and not easy to find things if it's outdoor.

Would the committee members kindly follow-up with the payment and set a good example for the rest to follow suit. Those in the list, kindly pass the words around via pm for them to make payment. Once bro zorom makes the decision to close the entry, those who have not paid will be dropped and not be include in the cubs anniversary celebration in the evening. We will also extract those dropped, OUT from the SBF Anniversary list to allow other SBF members a chance to get the goodie bag.

 

Note : My production cost for these merchandise already exceeded more than 6K.

 

Pse noted that it'll be a long day for us as our cubs event will follow after SBF anniversary 2007.

 

At least for $15 we have lunch & dinner (BBQ, privately funded), non-stop activities and a additional lucky draw for cubs member besides SBF main lucky draw.

Do arrange your schedule early and make yourself free that day. Participate in both event as the games & lucky draw prizes for SBF anniversary is good given the strong support we got from our advertiser.

 

The schedule is tentatively from 9 to 5.30pm for SBF Anniversary. The committee members have to arrived half an hour earlier especially the marshaller to guide the way to the parking and arrange the bike nicely for photo shoot. Motor culture is covering this event.

 

Some of the committee members have to be even earlier, i.e after 28 Dec midnight / 7.30pm depending where we get our seafood supplies for our BBQ.

 

Food preparation for the BBQ will commence right after the SBF Anniversary lucky draw. Do we have enough helpers to do this?

 

This coming sat afternoon 1pm can we meet at the Chalet?

if tats the case den it will b better if we do it indoor.. as mentioned the place is dark n may not b easy to find things if its outdoor.. basically from wat i can think of is...

 

do u have a smaller version of SBF stickers or logo?? so as it can b use during the games?? as in find things wif SBF logos on it..

Guys, Let's press on with this meetup on 1 Dec 1300Hrs at the chalet.

 

We need to meet n talk it out as I'm running out of time to push and get everything going. I'll be overseas and only be back on 26 Dec and after that is almost the event liao.

so anyway, i've read the thread on the discussion. it seems that coz of the chalet being dark, ada sikit susah nak get the games going eh?

 

okay.. you wanna have a treasure hunt kan? why not make it simpler. as in, it'll be an indoor treasure hunt. we divide the people into groups. then we give each group a list. they have to find all the items on the list. first group to get all will win.

 

eg. list of items:

1) 2 ezlink cards

2) 2 bike keys

3) 2 rings

4) 1 safety pin

5) 3 helmet bags

 

if you notice, these things usually can be found on people or in the chalet itself. so no need for them to go out into the "dark" to find.

 

another suggestion for games would be.. "Guess the place/ Guess who".

 

But this game will require a laptop and projector which i doubt will be at the chalet kan? so cancel! hahahaha..

 

another suggestion for games would be "Decorate your bike".

 

again they are divided into teams. each team only has to choose 1 bike to decorate on. they will be provided with toilet paper/plastic bags/crepe paper/cardboard. after they have decorated it, they are to come up with a catchy song & dance to promote the bike. (something similar to the mocca advert on television) We will have a set of judges to choose the winner.

 

another game would be.. "Secret Code"

 

in this game, the team members will hold each other's hand. we will give a number to the member on one end of the "line". he/she is expected to squeeze the partner's hand according to the number we have given. then the partner will squeeze the other partner's hand and so on. person at the last end will write down the number and wait for the next "secret code".

 

after they are done with the numbers, they are to double confirm with us the numbers that we've given them. if it's correct, they are to solve the code.

 

for eg. if the numbers are 48779.

it would be HAPPY.
