Phantom Knights 2D1N Malacca Ride

 

 

 

Date: 6th OCT to 7 OCT 2007

Meetup Venue: GP Esso

Time: 730 AM

Distance: ~450km (2 Way)

Traveling Speed: 100 - 110 km/h

Lodging: Safe Parking for bike.

Cost: $30- $40 per pax. Will be staying an apartment. Cost will be subjective as to be shared. Detail will be provided to confirmed participant

 

 

Remark: This trip will be a short trip suitable for Beginner especially for new Phantom Riders. It will be a good experience for new riders by exposing them to longer convoy ride on trips. We will appointed Road Marshall to ensure nobody hollan! Of cause, Safety will be our main concern

 

Min Requirement: Proper Riding Attire. No Racing Slipper or Racing Singlet!

Proper Riding Attire Include:

Full Face helmet

Jacket

Jeans

Covered Shoes (No Crocs Sandles!)

Standby Raingears **

Punctuality: Will not wait for any Latecomer in order to be fair for those who are on time. No pending list please. :)

Itinerary:

6/10/2007

 

7am Meetup GP Esso

815am Briefing and Introduction of Ride Marshall

830am Move Off .

945am Arrive At Machap R&R (Move off at 10am Sharp)

11am Arrive at Pagoh R&R (Move off at 1115am Sharp)

12.15pm Arrive at Ayer Keroh Toll (Head count and move off)

12.45pm Check in Hotel

130pm: Gather at Lobby to go for Famous Chicken Rice ball lunch.

 

After lunch: Free and Easy

 

Dinner: OTOT or Gather for the Original Satay Celup Dinner .

Night Activities: Suka You :D

Raise and Shine by 9am

945am: Gather at Lobby for briefing

10am: Move Off to Ayer Keroh R&R For A&W Brunch

11am: Arrive at Ayer Keroh R&R (1 Hr Lunch Till 12Noon)

12pm: Move off

1pm: Pagoh R&R (Move off at 1.15pm)

2pm: Machap R&R / Debriefing here (Move off at 230pm)

 

(Option 1):

 

330pm: Exit Gelang Patah Town for Bike Snow Wash, TCSS

430-5pm: Early Dinner At Tian Lai Restaurant (Seafood Dinner)

 

(Option 2):

Head Straight To GP Esso and Home Sweet Home...... :p

Arjen ah, on my trip up north last week, the Machap R&R (northbound) is undergoing major renovation, not sure if it will be complete by October. Perhaps you can check PLUS webby to see if got any information. Else consider stopping at Simpang Renggam or YongPeng, or take the exit out at Air Hitam for a short break at the numerous coffeeshops near the Air Hitam crossroads.

Its okay even if the petrol stop are closed.

We still can have the R&R area for toilet breaks or drinks.

Petrol wise is not a main issue since its only 80km away from GP ESSO.

I am fine with day tripper following up.

 

For my concern as an organizer, I wouldn't disappoint those who are interested as a day trip. However my priority are cater for the 2D1N trip.

 

For those who are interested with the day trip, I will prefer those with at least some experience as there will be no Lead or Marshall along the way back.

Duh! You're asking a blind to lead the blind...

I think should be okie lar.. as long as bike don't breakdown and there is petrol station, we'll be able to reach home be it 1 week or 1 month right?
