it depend on taste, soft or hard sotong :hungry:

I prefer to had a soft sotong coz it had more grip on the hotplate(rd) 26:28

why is it called a 'sotong'?

i saw in some other threads that the Michelin tyre is also called a 'sotong'..

I was quoted RM130 for 70/80Front and 80/80Rear Dunlop TT900 tires. Reasonable anot? Wanna change to light alloy spoke rim. Saw 2 brands, Mito Japan and Domino spoke rims. Which one is recommended?

:offtopic: Also for rear suspension, there are a few brands I have in mind; Mikuku, Sugaya (or something litat la), Moto-R, Yoshimura, KYB and Showa. Abit spoilt for choice. What are the brands you guys normally go for? Thanks!

Where to find Mikuku ah? AGL Ah Boy got anot? Only saw Moto-R, Yoshimura and Sugaya there. I saw quite a number of cub riders using Mikuku. Is it bought in Singapore? I am 70kg. Is there something like the tolerance poundage for the spring like high end bicycle? My bicycle cost more than my bike sia haha!

MERGED THREAD

Topic : How big can X1's tyre be?

Description : wat is the ax size a X1 tyre can be?

********************************************************************

Hi Guys, I love the design of X1, juz the skinny tyres tat makes mi ffel very insecure... haha.. so wondering, has anyone ever change to thicker wheels for X1?

Posted

if u wan thicker wheel u have consider wat size rim u are going to change and wats the clearance u can get from in between the 2 fork as well as the clearance between ur rear wheel and bottom of mudguard...

modding up a bike can b tricky as there is too many factors u need to consider..
