Can anyone tell me how much would it be to replace the original TA200 back seat rest? The orginal sissy bar..

 

Mine's leather is a bit torn.. see already very pek chek.. Pls advice.

 

Or it it possible to go auntie shop area to rewrap that part also?

go eugene saddlery it'll be better.. rewrap both seat and back rest will be about $35 to 40 and he'll give you a temp seat too.

Just change my batt - japanese brand $70. Not sure kanna carroted. mine died at the car park, cannot start, no lights, no horn. Called on-the-road mechanic, told him problem on phone. He bring batt and change, his service cost 20 so total $90.

Has anyone changed the seat to a single seat? Any idea how much it might cost? I'm thinking about it. Need to find some way to cover up the nuts on the rear mudguard.

Can go check with juz wheel at bukit merah area.. They look quite pro.

Also can try engene saddlery, somewhere near LAB.

 

BTW today i just went to rewrap my seat/back rest. $40 dollars.. Quite nicely done.

 

Customized 2 stickers to cover some rusty part on tank.. now looks like ****.. haiz.. $20 fly away..

any idea if the bike got knocking sound means what? it seems like it comes from the tank area.. it was ok when i move off and e knocking (like screw hitting metal) only surface when i move for like 15min.. more obvious when i am slowly down, but i suspect tis could be because the engine sound muff off the sound wen on the move..

last week i also experience the same thing.. very noticable when slowing down.. Went to Orange Shop change chain/sprocket, now smooth le.. woohoo..

is ur chain too slack? slack chains will bounce and hit ur bike frame when cruising.. that explains the sound.. and if sway, ur chain might "derail" and damage ur engine.. get a gold chain.. will last u long enuf..

Juz change the following :

Battery + Coil + e rubber thing for the engine cover( issit gasket) + castrol Gold engine oil = 250 @ planet

I ended up just rewrapping. It cost me $48 at a no name shop near my house. I'm quite pleased with it because it doesn't have the ugly seam between the front and back seat.

 

So how to push start? I'd like to learn too.

 

Herez how i do it:

 

1)Release side stand and balance the bike

2)Clutch in to engage gear 1 or 2

3)Clutch in and start to push the bike

4)Start to slow jog till you feel u got enuff momentum

5)Throw clutch and throttle

6)Immediately clutch in and release throttle once you hear the engine roaring or else you will start to fly

 

I managed to do it with about 6 car lot width worth of jog.. it is worth the practice in case ur bike bo battery..

go planet motors at ubi and tell doctor ah chong your problems.

 

Can anyone confirm? LAB told me rear and front eagle pillon footrest is the same. He quoted me $28 without installation. They also told me that dun try for ta200 because will interfere with gear shifting. but ive seen eagle footrest being installed on a phantom.. with eagle signal lights.
